work thing today - 8O 8O

Why cant a bank holiday last a week, I am suffering too much today to contemplate a 5pm finish need to go home now and lie down - thank god I am not driving today.... :?

4 nights on the trot was not one of my best plans ... :(

I was the same last Monday, had to go home at 2pm :?
 
Tell me about it :? :? 8O My only aim for today is survival :? I rewarded myself with 2 spritzers at lunch as a reward for getting thru the morning and now I'm just focusing on achieving survival by 5.30 by rewarding myself with bed :lol:

We do like to make the most of our Bank Holidays don't we 8O :lol: ;)
 
Sushi normally sorts me plus 2ltrs of water - today they haven't even touched the surface and by God I am sure I saw my Prawn Nigiri move on the plate..... which did scare me somewhat 8O

A couple of medicinal drinks will I fear, tip me over the edge today...

Barbie - did you make a decision on sensible or freelance? - I have changed my mind regarding the post I made this morning - stick to freelance then you can take time off at will....

Drew - Your your own boss - you can do the 2pm thing with a "off to see a client" malarky....

Yeah I turned the permananent job down and decided to stick with freelancing. At the end of the day if I thought the permanent job was right for me I wouldn't have had to ask everyone's opinions as to what to do. Felt so relieved when I told the Recruitment Agency I wasn't taking it and the place where I'm freelancing now is great so I def made the right decision for now.
 
Will need more than alcohol to give me the will to live tonight. BUT that will not happen (repeat this mantra to self all night)

(and I am cooking a big roast - funk knows how that will turn out for everyone..)

4 days - that's not really really bad - lets face it, Ibiza would be prob work out at about 9-10 days of naughtiness of some description.

Good plan Barbie - glad everyone's magic 8 ball gave you the answer you wanted...

Bank Holidays - fantastic when you were 6 and its half term for a week afterwards.... Bank Holiday's and adulthood? Not too sure how I feel today.. :?

We don't learn from it tho, I can guarantee that come August Bank Holiday wkend we'll be doing it all over again :? 8O :lol:
 
How am I expected to work when I go off to Barcelona and Ibiza in just over two weeks time?! ;)
 
I can't cope anymore! :lol: I just need 5.30 so i can have a big chinese take out and die on the sofa with a joint (or 10!)

Pop up to mine - I will try to serve you a wonderful roast beef sunday dinner with all the trimmings and you can supply me with 'erbal tabs all night cos I will not be able to roll ............

You'll have crashed out by the time i get there (if i get there - if my drive in this morning is anything to go by then I'm scared about driving home! :lol: ) Are you confident about cooking this evening or is the dog gonna get a bowl of black stuff? :lol: :lol:

Ok - I understand totally (I called my mate up to drive me to work this morning)

Nope not confident at all but as Mr PL is in exactly the same fettle as me today - he aint gonna notice that he's crunching on black crispy bits.... The dog is potentially safe - he had a bad bug last week which culminated in him puking for three days and having to go for blood tests on Thu - but everything is A OK now and is eating special "make the dog's tummy better" food from the vets (hence the fact the weekend went all a bit mad).. 8O :lol:

A - OK - where the funk did that come from? that shows just how bollocksed I must be still..... :?
