this one takes the biscuit.... Donkey Punch - kind of thought it would be a good little Brit dark film but it was just absolutely dire from start to finish - avoid at all costs...

From wiki: "The movie was filmed in 3 weeks with a budget of £500,000."
Reading the synopsis, looks like your typical low-budget straight-to-late-night-cable affair.

As an aside.... I didn't know what a Donkey Punch was until I looked it up  Pretty stupid thing to do!

I didnt know what one was either :oops::oops: I do now  :lol:

£500,000 budget ????? they must have spent £489,000 of it on the hire of the yacht if you ask me.

Interesting start, became a full on porno for a while, then became a terrible stab at Scream type film. It was a nice yacht though wasn't it!

The phrase "donkey punch" became a bit of a running joke with people at work (no idea why, we all just felt it funny to say it to each other :lol:), but I had no intention of seeing the film, really dont think its my cup of T

Clearly you haven't seen Inseminoid.

Donkey Punch was relentlessly boring throughout though. Every single character was fundamentally unlikeable. I ended up feeling sorry for the boat. Especially where that gormless chavlike drug-dealer started bleeding all over the upholstery.

I'm just thankful that they chose to bring up the 'Donkey Punch' at the start rather than some groteque scatological practice. There's no telling where that sex-scene could have ended up. Jesus.

:oops::oops::oops::oops: Oh but I have seen Insemnoid - and I hate to have to tell you it was one of my favourite crap B Movies of all time - I think it was one of the movies you got to see before the main feature and I am pretty sure I saw it before Jaws - a long long long long time ago :lol:

Quite agree about the characters AND the boat bit.... it was v nice and I'm not even a fan of sailing :lol:

There was a bit in it where one of the characters inexplicably starts sucking on a bit of old hosepipe whilst sawing her foot off for no reason and is then later found inexplicably frozen to death.

Presumably the DVD comes with a Special Feature that allows you to format the disc and use it to record something better. E.g The BBC 2 test card.

Watched it as a date movie round her house type thing first time I'd been there. Great shout. Worst film ever and about an hour of full on porn in the middle. Awful, awful film.

:eek: Noooooooooo :lol::lol::lol::lol:

oh you poor sod - I thought the gratuitious porn scene wasnt exactly needed like - "oooh pop a pill - and have a suck on my crack pipe - it turns you into a sex beast"

Anything with Harrison Ford in it is going to be bad......

Although when Raiders first came out........at the time it was breathtaking and different and in humble opinion, was Speilbergs Best movie as it was action/fantasy rather than the teary stuff like ET.

Jaws and Duel were good too
