I feel ill

I don't delve in chemicals, but, Wednesday came down with a fever, coughs, sneezes, running nose and aches and pains everywhere. Went to bed 9.30pm Wednesday night and been there ever since 8O Just getting up a couple of times for food. Took the rest of the week off.

Back to bed now.

thats what i had sore all over head pounding ,shivering then sweating not nice at all i was in my bed for 3 days nearly when i was there!

I've had sleep paralysis before and it's the most frightening thing that's ever happened to me. Thought I was fully awake, but couldnt move a muscle or make a sound...more or less exactly as described in that link above, I thought the invisible man was sitting on my chest. Really thought I was going to die that night...

i got that too, shocks and peircing pain in my ears every time i closed my eyes in silence! for days...i was well worried! Good to know it wasnt just me :)

wow. this pretty much sums up exactly whats been happening. i wasn't particularly worried, just wondering how long it'd last for. strangely enough, just as the article above said, i also began enjoying my mad nightly excursions!

Aye, the first time I had it many years ago I thought I was going to die, but I know what it's all about now so it can be quite cool. Annoying sometimes though when you just want to get some sleep.

Sunlight and 5-htp seems to help it, at least in my experience.

Quote

Many who experience sleep paralysis also report sensations of floating, flying, falling, or leaving one's body. The condition's primary emotion, terror, sometimes yields to feelings of excitement, exhilaration, rapture, or ecstasy. "A small number of people, while acknowledging fear during initial episodes of sleep paralysis, come to enjoy the experience," Cheyne says.

The twitches or "shocks" are known as Myoclonic jerks and are a mild form of epilepsy that we all suffer from from time to time. Usually occouring when we're dropping off, they tend to be more common when we're especially fatigued as the body is tired but the brain's motor functions are misfiring when shutting down.

I hate those twitches.. When i was on the plane from ibiza to barcelona last year i had a big twitch on the plane and whacked some poor guy in the face
