i found the whole full moon party a bit overrated. dont get your hopes up too much if you're used to ibiza it's a nice place and experience though.

also, like someone said - do not stay in haad rin, it'll be noisy, dirty and stinky!

We're only booking accomodation for special occasions in advance, everything else we'll find when we get there

I.e I'm booking a nice hotel at the Taj Mahal for Jon's birthday on 21st Nov, then we've got 4 days in those eco-huts on a beach in Goa for Christmas, then we've got 10days in our own beach hut in Koh Phangan for NYE and my birthday on 5th Jan.

So thats the only fancy accomodation we've got, all the rest will be backpacker hostels and straw huts on the beach

But I have booked in here for a fortnight in feb to get through the winter blues, it's in Goa surrounded by paddy fields and a lake 8) yippee!!!!!!
