how was your n.y.e

Went to the marvellous Tragaluz restaurant in Barcelona for NYE. Very snazzy place indeed. After rcovering from a heart attack after being handed the bill, we drank the place dry of champers and continued on to the OMMSessions club under our AMAZING hotel and woke up feeling 110% 8O

Really wasn't bothered about doing a big club, especially after boxing day's shenanigans 8O but had an excellent time with some good friends of ours.

Only downside to holiday is that our suitcase has got lost after landing back home  which means we have no washing to do  (just hope it turns up tomorrow as promised :? )

I stayed in on New Years Eve and had an early night. Saved an absolute fortune. Set my alarm for 5:30 am and got up and made my way to SWAY in holborn where Lovepuppy were having their infamous new years day party.

Partied my sockes off from 6am to 4pm and it was amazing. Brilliant venue, exellent selection of people, loads of girls - many of whom were single! you don't get that on new years eve normally!

It was that good it pulled a lot of the dancers from Miss Moneypennys in Birmingham who came all the way to london to go to this.

Best thing I ever did going to this.

i went to my mates night and had to endure 2 2hours of shit dj's until all the decent dj's came on, it didnt get going until half one then it exploded, danced my arse off till 8am then went home to get some rest and then made our way to slub supreme which is a very nice and plush club, was too tired to go mad so dropped a bean and shuffled my toes and stood about on the sidelines talking to randoms and staring at the pucka lasers for 4 hours until my mate finished up,left at 3 and had a laugh at all the reprobates trying to get into ministry as we passed in the car :D quality new years other than all the coke heads about i cant even be arsed to do that shit anymore :(

Absolutely fab, one of my fave New Years for ages :D

Flew to Barcelona on Thursday and met up with Jamie and co, did a bit of sightseeing and fell in love with the city and then met the lovely lovely Silvia for drinks and dinner and then managed to kidnap Sil back to our apartment for more fun and minxiness, we did attempt to have a civilised night but still didn't get to bed til 6

Spent the next day wandering round the city and went down to the port before heading off to fab restaurant, despite all saying that we were going to try and pace ourselves ended up abusing the all you can drink so Fellini, the first club is all a bit hazy 8O  but had lots of fun, then headed to the Mito aftershow which was unbelievable and carried on thru-out the day.

Woke up on the 2nd and the objective of the day was focusing on survival but did pay a visit to the Nou Camp and then went out for drinks and dinner on last night before flying back today.

All in all a fab New Year with great company, will definitely be returning to Barcelona :D

Had a great one:

Went down to Glasgow in the afternoon, then straight out round the bars at 5pm. Was pretty drunk by 9pm, when we met up with more mates and my girlfriend :D . Few drinks in The Arches Bar, then through to The Arches for the NYE celebrations.

Absolute madness at midnight, and great atmosphere :P Far too many neds though for my liking  Spent most of the night in the Playroom which was great as usual. Nice to meet Angie24 from here: sorry if I didnt talk much, had to run off to get my mate who was seriously freaking out :?

New Years Day, all drove back up to Aberdeen, then straight out again to see Tall Paul. Great night, good crowd...but honestly think im about to die now :?

Lots of fun

My NYE was spent DJing as usual. Don't drink when DJing.

Had a great night and did a long 6 hour set (at double time too! ;) ). Was originally booked for 5 hours with the option of continueing. Did a minutes silence just before midnight for the Tsunami disaster, I was amazed at all these mashed-up revellers actually being silent for a minute. Broke the silence with the Big Ben bells followed by Noddy Holder screaming 'Happy New Year' then an uptempo version of Auld Lang Syne. Worked great. :D

My residency have never had a DJ on NYE due to only having a Friday/Saturday entertainments License. They couldn't believe how different and busy it was. :D Methinks they will get a special license from now on. Scored lots of Brownie points. ;) :D

Went to Pacha NYE, excellent stuff, as Sandi says Seb Fontaine was spot on, he's been good all year, that's why we chose to go there NYE. Had great time, especially my mate who's new to the whole clubbing thing and had that 'I get it now!' epiphany which lifted everyone even more.

NYD was crap though, half the people in Pacha seemed to have (genuine) colds and passed them on, so no Ministry for us.

Sunday was better, met up with friends from Uni, had a few beers and a laugh.

Monday, home for a serious lay down.

No decision made on how to spend NYE - until 11th hour - Party at Chez Puppylover, with fireworks, electric shock games (how stupid was that - you really dont want to send your heart racing anymore than it is whiklst being silly !!) and a few friends. And lots and lots and lots of naughtiness :D :D

Carnage ensued..... paying for it now....... Flu household :( :( :(

Didn't really stand a chance with g/f coughing and sneezing all over the place

Glad you had a good NY though ;)

Oh yes - I understand that entirely - Mr PL doing the sneezy coughy business all over the shop - luckily I have had my flu injection so hopefully mine wont be as bad.....

NY was indeed fun - considering no organisation went into it at all - in fact could be the way forward for all NYE's in future - Ad Hoc!!!

Yours sounded mad yet cultural? I like that in a trip away from home...

ended up drinking, and dj-ing at a cosy house party.

got so pi$$ed i had a go at some bint who asked me if i had "call on me"...

NYE at Brixton Academy was brilliant. Fergie stole the show I think. Really good techy set.. place went ballistic when he played Steve Lawler vs King Unique "Souls on Ice".. Tall Paul was a bit disapointing though :?

Hooked up with Stu Hirst to catch his set at SEONE straight after.. Good one fella, just what we needed after a large dose of hard house from Brixton! 8)
However i'm not pleased with the fact he convinced me to go to Ministry later on... ;)

Morillo was on top form, not TOO much of the usual fiddling that he does on breakdowns. Thanks to everyone from here who I met on saturday, Holly (for the ticket too), Becki and Lynch. And thanks to Anil, Kang and her gang for keeping me company when I got lost!! Which seemed to be most of the night.
See some of you again on the 22nd and others (IE: Anil) earlier than that i'm sure.
