How thorough are the bouncers are at the door (cameras)

New Member
Reading some of the older topics but none really said how strict they are at the door. I know in NYC clubs it would be almost impossible to sneak one in unless you know someone that works at the club. I was thinking of taking this camera (got another one for ibiza sights) due to it's minature size...

yea whats the point sneeking it in if ur gona be made a show of if u take it out by havin all the bouncers in the place do a code red on ur ass,i got mine taken off me at space and privalige,pacha was grand,amnesia the same.there is a wicked little digatal camera on www.wantoneofthose.com its a lighter/camera...very handy1 im thinkin of buyin one.

Seriously I've never had any problems in Space and we've taken pictures blatantly in front of security in there, they've got better things to worry about, I think sometimes they just like to assert their authority when they take them off people, just smile at them sweetly and it does the trick ;)

Just take a disposable £5 jobby, if you get it in no probs and you'll get some blinding Space pics if you don't then you can get it back when you leave and even if you forget then what have you lost, a fiver :D

yea ive had mine taken but u allways get it back.......they cudnt just take it on u,so its worht the chance

THanks Stu, this is a subject i was really really wondering about.....i too want to take a camera into the clubs (any) b/c i want souveniers too. Must share w/ all my friends when i get back home...so..... :roll:

I'll just take some of ya'lls advice and take a small cheapy for the clubs, and my nice one for all the sights outside! yeeeeah! ;)
 
Try to smuggle one in if you can, the worst that can happen is getting it confiscated (particulary in Space) but you can collect it on your way out at the door. I've never heard of anyone losing their camera for good :idea:
