I got a ticket for Cox at the Stiff Kitten (Belfast) in June, reckon there could be about 800 or so there, at £22 a pop that is £17,600 from the ticket sales (give or take a few freeloaders), so it's a question of how much of that goes to him, how much to the Friday night promoters and how much to the owners. Bit harder to work out for big nights in big clubs where there are several big names playing, but if there's just the one at least you can come up with some kind of guesstimate.

the thing that kills me is the fact that since general interest in dance music has gone downhill since early 2000, booking agents are still charging out the ears for dj's to come and play for an hour (or 2).
I think DT getting 65,000 for the WLS closing is just a bit ridiculous. In the end, he's just playing records.
