how packed are the closing parties?

things do start to quiet down a bit in September right? Are the closing parties still really packed? as crazy as the july /august pics/videos i've seen on ibiza's children?
I don"t want to be soo smushed I can't dance, but part of the reason I want to go to Ibiza is that i wnat a packed, party atmosphere..
Am thinking the first two weeks in September, I"ll be there (hopefully!!)or maybe go a bit earlier to get the full Ibiza experience?
 
Yes, clubs will be packed!

First 2 weeks in September would be an excellent choice of dates ;)

Slightly cooler than August, but still loads going off.
 
First weeks of September: the clubs, at least the important parties, are very crowded. The people in general is better than in August. It's much more unlikely to get into a place where you won't even be able to move your arms off your trunk (but you still might get into a way too packed place!). The harbor bars still very bustling, the terraces still full of people. So the nighs are still full of life, and without annoying crowds that won't delay you to get to your favourite places. If you're going by car, it probably won't take you long to find a parking place near the harbor, you'll find it soon or later near the harbor (in August this is almost impossible). If you're going by taxi, you will be able to get into one in relatively little time, maybe a few taken and the next free or with a little luck, you might see the first taxi that is free (in August this is almost impossible).

End of September (never been but this is what some friends told me), fewer clubbers, but all of them real clubbers who know perfectly what they are searching for, and gather at the same parties, normally closing parties (the few that are still open), so the parties get rammed and wicked. But the nightlife at the harbor has already started to fade away, and the last days of September it's pretty dead, plus many bars have already shut down till next season at this time.

You choose what time of September would fit better into your liking.
 
when I went to the space closing party last year it was crazy - u just could not move on the terrace, luckily there was a big outdoor arena, I wasn't expecting it to be so busy and gutted I missed eric morillo on the terrace cos i started to have a panic attack and people were dancing on my feet !!
 
Space closing party last year was THE night of the year. It was so cool, people just having a good time. Although most of the time I couldn't see anything but the back of the person in front of me coz I'm so short.
