How old.........

Thanks for that:D you've shown my point exactly, its kind of your clubbing career reflected in the nights that you go to. I loved space, dc10, pacha etc just felt like i was a bit before my time:roll:

Sorry just realised my post made me sound like I'm ancient! 8O  I'm 23 now  You are right though your tastes do change as you get older. Although a lot of it is also because the more times you go to the island the more you learn about it; different places to go, different restaurants, beaches, clubs etc. I'm sure when I'm 30 I'll have a whole different perspective of the island, and will know so much more about it :p

ahhh right. but it was shut for a while after it was KU, no?:?

i know cream did their weekly there in 1995 before hopping across the road to amnesia. cream did somethin at pacha in 1994 tho (not weekly)

It was Pacha 1994, then Ku 1995, then Amnesia 1996 - if you spent less time being an ISP you might know these simple facts  ;)

Ku closed as Ku in 1995 and reopened as Privilege in 1996.

I'm the same as you becks - was really into my hard house when I was about 17 8O  , then my funky stuff, then techno/prog and now stuff without a beat at all really, just pops and clicks 8O

Where I go from here I just don't know  Eventually I guess just white noise with a rhythm.

Although went to see lisa lashes about a year ago and remembered how fun that music is sometimes

Very first time I was 8 (with my ma & pa) but the first time proper (i.e. on my own) I was sweet little 16. Must confess did the whole 18 - 30's thing, down the West End for lots of cider, a number of excrutiating excursions involving slightly rude party games, a dodgy BBQ's meal and all you can drink sangria and regular trips to Play2 to dance like a drunken gibbon to Ratpack and marvel at the lasers. 8O

Not embarassed though as I fell in love with the island that year, have been back every year since (apart from 2000 when I was in hospital for most of it) and worked the '99 season. Have now learnt Spanish to a reasonable level and am seriously considering jacking my job in early 2007 and making a go of relocating.

P.S I still make a yearly pilrimage to the West End on my regular visits to the White Isle. Just for old times sake you understand:oops:

true but if its a weekly residency, you're unlikely to command that level every week.......even if you got a couple of hundred punters through the door;)
