How much???

Evidently.

But if he's got all that money to buy the best stuff, why doesn't he move to the best city to enjoy it in? :p

(disclaimer => ;) :lol:)

Up sticks to New York?

Nah - he'd miss his mate too much :D

Depends on whats left after paying all the household utitlity bills and my small loan. Some months i dont buy a thing and then on an odd occasion i'll spend about £100. Im quite good for a girl really 8O

You don't need to spend that much - I'm doing it for under £800.
Have researched it and it's a really good model - won loads of awards as an entry level system. 'In focus' is the brand.

Already have the surround sound and projector screen.
So... I'm just thinking here. Can you put one of these things under the coffee table? Trying to figure out how I'd get a proper angle on a screen...

I go in fits and starts - buy very little for a couple of months then splash out all in one go. A holiday is usually the catalyst.

However, the WIFE (8O 8O ) comes home with something most days. If not then every other day.

She tries to confuse me by saying "you've seen this before, i wore it ......."

I have just bought two pairs of shoes on my lunch break  one pair from Karen Millen were £60 but are a a half size too small another pair from Miss Selfridge for a fiver! I guess I should take the Karen Millen ones back!

Why oh why buy a pair of shoes that don't fit just cos they're in the sale 8O It's not as if you can put your feet on a diet and they're going to shrink

Have you read any of the Shopaholic books Jessy - the girl in that, that's you that is  ;)

they were half price - they've got about a 4 inch heel though so won't be able to walk in them  but I can just look at them!

I'm thinking about going for counselling..

That old chestnut  I have exhausted that excuse. I used that the other day and said I bought it years ago, then some bint came up to me in the street and said ohhhhh I have that top too :spank:

 @ Jessy...this far too funny.

Morbyd - You mount projectors on a ceiling bracket or you'll get a funny picture angle. ;)

(you're getting one too now aren't you?)

I'm going to have to do that - that's why I got gym membership (i've been once in two months 8O)

Am taking the shoes back tomorrow and will come straight back to the office

I had a freelance job last year and I worked directly opposite the Top Shop at Oxford Circus - I was literally going in every lunchtime and after work, it was actually probably costing me to come to work to feed my Top Shop habit

This new job is not quite so tempting as it's up Tottenham Court Road so I've just rationed myself to one shopping trip per week after work.

I just don't have the self discipline - even if I worked miles away from shops i'd still go on the internet.... maybe I need to move to somewhere like the Isle of Man

That's why I was asking about the coffee table idea because I don't think I can do a ceiling mount.

It is tempting... of course, that would then require a stereo upgrade... and then I'd like to get a media center PC to upgrade from the old laptop I currently use for sending MP3s to the stereo.... this is all going to get very expensive, isn't it?

Opposite where I work, Reiss is about to open a new shop. I am counting down the days

When I take new freelance jobs their proximity to good shops is one of the main factors in me deciding where to go
