How much money to take?

Returning to the best island in the world after a two year absence :cry: just wondering how much money wud make a good week? cant remember how much i did in last time lol

It depends how much you are going to drink in the clubs and what club nights you go to, and if you're buying 'extras' for partying. You could take 1500 quid and leave Ibiza skint easily if you spent like you would at home. I'm just back form a week at opening parties and I spent 600.
 
Thats what im talking about..Im gonna be smart and drink before hand and hit clubs at 1 or 2 and save money for one special day.Eat pizza and noodles.I dont know what day that is but probably toward the end of the week.Go out with a bang!!!
 
all depends really on how silly you want to get. I've been in the past and done £1500 in 5 nights but didn't get anything really organised in advance and ate out a lot. This time we've got a villa and are going for 10 days and i'm intent on stocking up on duty free, loads of food and beer from local supermarkets. Hopefully that way we'll save on the necessity of havign to escpae from an apartment and can do BBQ's on the days you can actually face eating!;)
 
I have always gone with a budget of 100 euros per day. It has always lasted and i have only ever overspent once, last year.
That was the only year i went for one week so felt compelled to hit a club everyday. I think i spent £800 in that week.
As i usually go for two weeks 100 euros a day is fine as there are days where i wont go to a big club thus saving me at least 40 euros that day!
I eat out every night in restaurants too (altho the steaks in the first week may be replaced by pizza @ davids in the second lol)

Alot does depend on drinking in clubs though. Thats where i went wrong last year, most nights when i went to a club i had a 50 euro note in my pocket which was exchanged for 4-5 drinks during the course of the night.

A club day gets very expensive sometimes.
A typical spend might be :
Food 20 euro
Drinks in apartment or pre bars 20 euros
Ticket 45 euro
'Extra's' 15 euro
Taxi's 15 euro
Drinks in club 40 euro

and that doesnt include silly things like the three san miguels you forced down whilst messing around in the pool, or the 10 euro you wasted on buying snack food you thought you might be able to eat at 3pm but couldnt ha ha

so as you can see it can easily escalate to 150-200 euro in a day!!

if your going for one week take as much as possible. £600 for one week will be a good holiday, £1000 will be the best holiday!!

like mentioned above tho, you could take £10,000 to ibiza and still come home skint if you went to the right places!
 
You can get by with 800 euro for a week but i wouldn't go any lower than that. I personally set aside money for each individual club night im going to at the start of the holiday and put it into 4 or 5 envelopes in my safe. I then spend the rest night to night.

Best thing to do is try not to spend much cash during the day and don't eat out all the time.

I've saw people go bananas the first few nights then sit skint the rest of their holiday....
