How long til' you go?

A week today. We are so excited for this one. First time as a family was 2015. July for one week and our lad was 5 months old, basically the easiest time to go on holiday with a new child. He just lay there, sat in his highchair, floating in the pool and sea in his floaty thing. Soooo easy. Fast forward to May last year and November (Majorca and Canaries) things were not so easy but still fairly straightforward. This year though at 2 and half, He is into everything and LOVES water. SO I can imagine he will want to be in the pool and sea most of the time. We are going for 11 nights this time. I can't help but plan the next 7 days over and over in my head.

You'll probably not want to know this but, i'll post my next 7 days any way lol :) (this wife breaks up on Thursday I break up Friday)

Today- I have work at 4pm till 11pm. So far the house is tidy and clean, washing on pots done child in his room making noise. Going well so far:)
Tuesday- Work at 10:30am till 4pm. Easy shift. Once at home it will be a tidy up make tea sort child out and chill. The days go so fast. One less day till departure.
Wednesday- Off work. Finalise packing and making sure all his stuff is packed and plenty of treats for the flight etc.
Thursday- working 4pm till late again. The days fly by on those shifts. During the morning I will be making sure the house is tidy, less to do over the weekend.
friday-Last shift 11am till 4pm. Down tools and bugger off home. We both get paid on this day so it will be a case of transferring money to my Revolute card and change into euros. All being well we should have enough for the duration, Eu700 I think we will have. Also making sure we have enough to cover bills whilst we are off. Final check of suitcases and paper work etc. All put away ready :)
Saturday- Last minute bits from town. Food whilst we are there, go home and load up cartoons on tablet for little one ready for the flights etc. Clear phones of old photos, delete apps not needed. Can't beat a fresh phone for going on holiday. Charge up the D3300 and make sure all filters, caps, lenses etc are all packed nice and tight. (might have to boot it up through security so they can check it). Create a guest account on Pc for bro-inlaw to use. He stays with us temporarily and will be looking after the house. Go to work for food and drink, we work in a carvery pub locally)
Sunday-bring suitcases downstairs, get travelling clothes ready for all 3 of us for Monday. Get some Euros in cash, mostly be on the Revolute card to use over there, saves carrying wads of notes around. Finalise what ever needs doing and making sure the house is spick and span. Call dog walker, our dog stays with her during our holidays. Confirm time to collect him.
Monday- Take lad to playgroup at 9am, go to work for all you can eat breakfast. (work is 50yds down from playgroup) may indulge in a pint after. Collect him at 12, home then picked up at 1pm-1:30pm to go to EMA. All being well the desk will be open about 2ish if so its a case of dumping bags on them and bugger off to nosey around. Treat my wife to something, have some food, Bk or maybe something from one of the restaurants. Let lad play in soft play area. few beers chilling out.
