How long til' you go?

The thread i’ve been mostly avoiding….until now

All booked up for a week 22/09-29/09. Cocoon and godskitchen bound

I don’t know if we had completely just missed the flight that we’re booked onto or it’s been added in the last few days (seems unlikely) but we’ve just got return flights from Newcastle for £243 each inc 20kg baggage/10kg hand luggage with unreal flight times. Leaves 06.05am on the Monday morning touch down at 9.50am !!

Staying in what looks like a nice hotel in the bay which we’ve walked past plenty of times so know exactly where it is and are more than happy with location

Now to loose about 2 stone in 26 days:lol:

Same arrival as me, not long!

I know the feeling on the second part, 6 cuts last summer and 4 this one for trips means for an interesting summer, alongside the heavy drinking as is standard 😂.

I got myself back to the gym after about 8 months off in May:lol: kept the training up since but couldn’t keep to a diet to save my life and as you say the drinking twice a week which leads to more sh!tty foods etc

On a strict no drink no takeaway diet until we go (only started this on tuesday) god knows if it’ll make any difference but can only try!

Good luck, i've also cut out drinking before I go...!

It will definitely work if what you say is true as it’s simple science! 2 weeks maximum and the deficit will be fully in place. Even if you don’t notice the change, you’ll still feel better knowing it’s taking shape, that in itself makes you feel better and ready to go😃
 
I got the diet and exercise nailed! But Friday doesn’t feel like a Friday unless I’ve opened a bottle of wine and have some loud music on in the kitchen! Saying that I’m having a no alcohol weekend this week as it’s ibz next week and I want to feel tip top

Alcohol is not a sacrifice I'm willing to make, probably haven't had a weekend off it for 2-3 years 😂. They say you can't out-exercise a 'bad' diet.. hold my beer(actually I'll keep it, thanks) :D.

Haha agreed! Might need to sack it off to get where u want but when ur there it’s all good
