Cunning plan to work from the lounge at Stansted thwarted by failure to account for check-in/bag drop times. Been here since 8, two meetings done from noisy public area, hoping to get to the lounge for 11ish.... flight is at 16:05.

I've tried working from the airport and many other options when tight for time, but for some reason every plan I've gone with just ends up in drinking at least 4 pints minimum, must be a problem with the airports.

Definitely sounds like an airport issue, I’ve had the same

My biggest nark was paying for breakfast and coffees, when I'd already sprung for the lounge. That said, they still sorted me a place in the when I was 2.5 hours late for booking and I had my alloted 3 hours, took me right up to boarding time then

Couldn’t sleep last night and mistakingly ended up on booking.com

Went a bit extreme considering we cant really go but booked a week in san an and 5 days in es cana for the end of sep:lol: (how dare they have 4 cluh nights i really want to go to spread across 12 days!) . Paid nothing as its the free cancellation malarky but its a step in right direction

Flights ridiculously expensive

I have however started work again this week so theres a 0.1% chance of it happening🤞

definitely tell it was 3am when i booked those hotels. Thinking about it we could just do a week and only miss one of the 4 said nights. Looking again now:spank:
