Having visited the island for nearly 10 years (with hire car and rudimentry grasp of Spanish last 4 years) have still not been able to locate the beautiful (I've seem piccies) quarry called Atlantis. Help !!

I think I saw a sign at Cala d'hort advertising a boat available to take you there actually. Will give it a go - thanks :D

Surely half the experience is the on foot journey and effort in discovering it yourself? That's got to be what makes it so rewarding rather than a tour boat?

im afraid finding atlantis is just something you have to find out for yourself, its all part of the fun :)

I found it first time of looking after seeing piccies of folks jumping of the cliffs into the lagoon. It was 2000 if I remember correctly scrambling down the steep banks was fun, it felt eery at the bottom you feel so small down there! I have still got the map we bought and a local in a nearby road cafe marked it on for us otherwise I would still be looking this year!!!!

perhaps but when you are trying to scale the cliff back up from atlantis, rewarding is not a word i would use. i've seen grown men cry attempting to get back up the cliff on a hot day.

yeah, i had to sit down half way back up and went all dizzy and couldnt feel my legs. But worth it:lol:
