How busy is Solomun plus 1 at Pacha?

This is similar to my experience! Really didn't like the vibe at all. Felt like no one actually knew who they were seeing!

Felt the same after chatting with various randoms at Circo Loco last year, didn't seem to have any clue or interest of who was playing that night. Possible there just to say they went to DC10, upload a few snaps to insta and tell their mates what a 'mint' time they had when they get back home.

I think the difference between having this at Circo and Pacha is at Pacha there is a very strong presence of it, at DC10 even tho you have people like this you can easily ignore it at Pacha I found it almost impossible to get away from rich, posh people all dressed up clearly just there because it's Pacha, and that MASSIVE VIP area behind the booth just looks awful!! Atleast DC10 feels like a proper club!

just saw announcement for the playtimes tonight: Solomun and Dixon will already start at 01:30 already to play B2B, so something like 6,5 hours of B2B tonight, amazing!

People moan about Hi VIP this is a million times worse imo I had no idea litteraly half the club was a massive VIP section! Felt like a high end London table club with decent music as opposed to a proper club.

its not that bad.

pacha isnt only the dance floor, explore it there plenty of areas for non vip to hang around.

We did we walked around a fair bit and I think saw most of the venue and still didn't do it for me which is a shame because I really wanted to love it! Just didn't give me the same feeling as when I walk into amnesia and I get a sense of WOW this is a proper club!

For me personally I don't think clubbing should mean having to dress up and look your best it felt everyone was there to pull a girl and look the nuts with your bottle of vodka that cost 300 quid at amnesia it's a relaxed anything goes have fun night Pacha I didn't get that feeling at all

I've had countless nights at pacha which felt just as relaxed as at amnesia

i understand but again you cant compare both because what nights are you comparing?

if solomun was played @ amnesia it would have the same - or similar atmosphere to the one in pacha.

Maybe it was just a bad night I went to then as that was my first time there. Will give it another try next year and hopefully that changes

Really? Personally I can't see how the 2 can be compared and I think they are completely different, so if solomun played at amnesia are you telling me everyone would turn up in there best clothes and smart shoes? No they wouldn't because it's not Pacha where they have a dress code

Yeah I get what you're saying. Couple of year since I was last at Pacha, used to be my favorite club. Will be going to Solomun or Maceo this year, as long as I can find a spot to dance/listen to the music I'm not really bothered by what's going on around me.

No Ibiza holiday is complete for me without a night at Pacha. Personally, I think the whole VIP thing is for vacuous wannabes who think paying 500€ for a little table and a bottle of vodka is the epitome of cool when in fact it is the antithesis of that. I have had dozens of fantastic nights at Pacha over the years and only a couple of duff ones that I can remember.

I was there the Sunday before last and it was probably my worst night over my whole trip, got very busy very quickly, really wasn't keen on the +1 which killed our mood and found the club a lot smaller than I expected which made it feel busier!
Exactly the same as us mate however I actually liked Michael Mayer better than Solumun whose set was utter shit compared to others on YouTube.

Interesting...absloutely loved solomun when I went...and didnt like the plus 1 patrick beauchmel or what ever his name is

& i totally get what u guys are saying, but the atmosphere of pacha itself is different.

for example if am attending for sven vath there my approach for the night would be different than if am attending him @ cocoon.

thats why most people were surprised of the new acts playing in pacha such as richie, len faki etc. because its not the place to do what you usually do @ maybe space or amnesia.

anyways, you see the same thing @ music on VIP & much more than pacha solomun.
No you don't, amnesia has a huge dance floor with not a single VIP table on it! Yes the balcony around the terrace has lots of VIP but if your on the dance floor you don't notice much VIP presence at all.

Well that's how I see it, at Pacha I felt everywhere I looked there was VIP
