How are the drink prices in the clubs this year?

That's the big big downside to Ibiza the rip off prices of drinks in clubs and bars:evil: i was charged 17 fu**in euro for a vodka and orange @ Manumission how can they justify charging these prices i don't know.

Iv'e given ibiza a bodyswerve this year and the next time I won't be doing any clubs.

Well maybe not anyway8)
 
Most outrageous price I paid this year was €14 for two Vodka and Lemonades in Itaca! That was my first and last visit of the holiday :roll:

Sounds like every town in Scotland at the weekend.

We call it a kerry oot. But this practice stops when you are 16 and old enough to try and get into pubs/clubs.

Botellón it's not a spanish tradition, Botellón it's something common in some spanish areas like Madrid and the south of Spain. You would never see a botellón in my area.
The pics uploaded are from Granada and that's an exception cos the city council offers a place outside the city for that matter. A proper botellón is always in the streets and squares for the joy and happiness of the neighbourghs who can't sleep at night and found the streets full of trash in the morning :roll:

You should try living in NYC...that's a pretty standard price here...
It's all about location and demand, they can charge it because people will pay it, no matter how much it costs...

Policía Local y comerciantes aseguran que las cuadrillas de jóvenes de la península, especialmente de la costa levantina, que acuden a las discotecas de la zona son las que se muestran más violentos

La situación de inseguridad en Platja d´en Bossa, denunciada por comerciantes y vecinos a raíz de los últimos altercados ocurridos en las inmediaciones de la discoteca Bora Bora, preocupa también a los responsables de la Policía Local de Sant Josep, que reconocen que este está siendo un verano especialmente complicado debido al cambio importante que ha sufrido la playa en cuanto al tipo de usuarios, que han pasado de ser mayoritariamente extranjeros a ciudadanos de la Península mucho más conflictivos.
«Hace cuatro o cinco años las familias podían dar un paseo por la playa sin problemas, ahora hay tramos en que está todo saturado y en el que la fiesta se ha sustituido por cierta inseguridad», reconoce el jefe del cuerpo municipal Jaume Ramón.
«Antes te encontrabas al típico extranjero que armaba algo de escándalo y que podía haber consumido alcohol o lo que fuera, pero al que le llamabas la atención y te hacía caso. Ahora son más grupos de jóvenes españoles, que están acostumbrados a acudir a las grandes discotecas de lo que antes era la `ruta del bakalao´ y que crean graves problemas porque tienen una actitud muy violenta y se encaran con los agentes cuando se les dice algo», añade.
Este cambio a peor también ha sido comprobado por los comerciantes de la zona. «Los italianos también son bastante conflictivos, pero este año están viniendo muchos grupos de jóvenes de la costa levantina que, cuando beben, son muy violentos y no tienen respeto por nada», explica Juan Costa, propietario del supermercado en el que, el pasado día 9 varios miembros del personal del Bora Bora golpearon a un joven al que habían sorprendido vendiendo droga en la citada sala.

Tensión constante
Pilar es la propietaria del bar Es Daus en el que irrumpieron el pasado martes un empleado del Bora Bora y un supuesto cliente y que llegaron a empuñar dentro del restaurante una porra y un sacacorchos.
«Todos los días te encuentras algo. Esta gente acude al aparcamiento de nuestro local y se pone a hacer botellón, pone la música muy fuerte, hace sus necesidades en la calle e, incluso, se pone a saltar encima de los coches o a consumir droga en tus narices», relata indignada. «Nunca había pasado esto. Son una auténtica jauría. Esto es como en las películas del Oeste: no hay ley», añade.
Los dos comerciantes coinciden en señalar que en la zona hay preocupación por la degradación que vive el barrio. «Los vecinos y los comerciantes tenemos miedo porque todos los días pasan cosas por aquí. Pero es que, además, la presencia de toda esta gente espanta a los clientes de toda la vida, más familiares, menos conflictivos», explica la dueña del restaurante.
El propietario del supermercado reconoce que su negocio no se ha visto tan afectado como otros en cuanto a ventas pero sí en lo que respecta a seguridad. «Antes, con tres personas, podías atender a todo el mundo y vigilar a los pequeños cacos que intentaban robar algo. Ahora, tenemos que ser cinco dependientes y hay que tener mil ojos para que no se lleven algo sin pagar o lo rompan», lamenta.
Hasta hace poco los problemas se quedaban en el asfalto y la arena de Platja d´en Bossa; ahora han entrado dentro de los comercios mientras sus dueños se preguntan en qué acabará todo esto.

Same high drink prices here on the West Coast (San Diego). Although a bottle of water here is usually 5 USD or less. 8 euros for a small water is an absolute ass raping! Better be Kabbalah water they're serving.

For anyone that cares, Tijuana is only a 15 minute ride South of where I'm located, and Coronas are only a buck. Plus most bars/clubs simply charge a 10-20 dollar cover (girls r usually get in free) and it's all you can drink all night!
 
On Monday we went to Release Yourself @ Pacha and asked how much is Vodka & Redbull, it was 15€. Then asked how much is plain Redbull and it was 13€! After that suggested that if she could sell me just the vodka for 2€, didn't agreed to that..hmph 8)

Ha ha you cheapskate :p

Actually I once tried almost the same in DC10, their entrance includes one free drink so I asked at the bar if I could have one glass of vodka. The barmaid didn't agree :? :lol:
