Hotel Victoria or Mar Y Playa Apartments (Hotels Vs. Apt?)

I am thinking of staying there. Anyone knows anything about it and the area? Its in Talamanca Bay - is it close enough to the craziness, but yet far away enough if you want some quite time? I hear its the most beautiful part of the island - is it true?

The other choice would be Mar Y Playa Apartments. I understand they are in the middle of everything in the Play Den Bossa area. Dont know which should i choose.

Thanks, but i am trying to get personal opinions since its obvious that on the website they are going to say these are great places to stay.

Also:

Hotels Vs. Apartments - pros and cons? I assume they dont have any housekeeping services in apartments, correct?
