Ok this seems like it could be the one.

Damn im all excited bout comming to ibiza and all the arranging is gettin frustrating!

Can anyone tell me if Mare Nostrum is worth staying at for 2 weeks straight. So far all me n my mate have been wanting to do is come now and Dance!

Cant wait! and its 6 months away!!!

I stayed there for 4 days about three years ago. Its very basic and full of families on holiday. The food is not great and we only ate there once even though we were on full board. They have pool side (FAMILY) entertainment every night and basically I would describe it as a British Family Holiday hotel. Its a good location though.
It really depends on what you are looking for. If that sounds like your cup of tea then fine. If you are looking for something in the same price range but a bit more young a lively I would suggest the Atzaro Apartments or Jet but I havent stayed at Jet so only going on other peoples comments.

Hmmm

Ok dude cheers. I just read a few new reviews saying that it has just been refurbished. With air-con and the rooms updated.

Hotel MARE NOSTRUM The hotel has been recently refurbished, with modern facilities.Including Air conditioning and well decorated rooms (with Satelite TV, telephones, complete baths and terraces over the panoramic views and sea breeze. The hotel has 528 rooms less than 100 meters from the beach of Playa D'en Bossa, and 2 km. from the center of Ibiza. It is very close to the Discoteques of Space and Bora-Bora and has long enjoyed a reputation as THE HOTEL for clubbers and young people. The large buffet dining room offers breakfast and half-board. The bus to Ibiza or the airport stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel's facilities are completed by 2 swimming pools (one for adults and the other for children), sun terrace, minigolf, table games, football field, daily entertainment, and private parking for guests.

Hmmm so some one is lying about it being hotel for clubbers :/

I have an apartment across the road from the Mare Nostrum, and we were led to believe it was to be redeveloped into a specialist hotel for the youth market - some sort of "18-30" operation aimed at the clubbing fraternity.

Regarding the location, it is walking distance from Space and Bora Bora, and a €1 bus or €6 taxi into Ibiza Town. Alternatively, it is a 1 hour stroll via Figuretas, where you can have nice tapas at La Cabana, and then carry on along the front, and over the hill to the old town, where you come out near to Warhol.

Anyway, from a 20 year veteran, just get to the Island, cos it doesn't matter where you stay, just what you do whilst you are here!

Cheers thats what a i wanted to hear :D

If ya could help me out in any other way just gimme a pm :D

Cheers!!

I hope to be a vet one day!! :P
