I brought a guest back, not staying overnight. They didnt say anything, but maybe the front desk guy missed it?

Thank you Nobbie. A female friend of my wife and I will be travelling alone and might visit us and another couple there. Did you get bands?

Yeah they gave me a wristband. My friend didn't have one because he wasn't a guest of the hotel and it was like around midnight but they didn't say anything. We only stayed in my room for a few hours anyway, but I guess he coulda stayed the night. They do look to see if ppl have wristbands tho, so I'm thinking they just made a mistake with my situation

When I stayed at Marco Polo I didn't get one, but they were looking carefully to see who's a guest and who wasn't by eye. Anyone staying overnight with you is charged €31.50 plus a copy of their id is needed.

Hotel Caribe in Santa Eulalia wasn't checking anyone and that was a much better hotel than the above two. I guess cuz the location is sorta out of the way so they didn't care too.much

Always next year.

Was Marco Polo all good?

I didn't realise that I booked a single room until later! I thought overall the hotel coulda been better. Water temperature and pressure in the shower was all over the place, holes in walls, and yeah lots of shouting and unnecessary banging of doors. Room was small, but I expected that. I usually just throw my clothes all over the place, but it became apparent fast that I had to use the closet.

Independent temp control was nice for AC, but it was really wonky. I heard double rooms are better so maybe I'll do that next time but I liked Es Pla more for what you pay there. Obviously the location is prime for Marco Polo, so I did like that.

Another question: are any of the pools heated properly in Ibiza? I've now tried three hotels and they don't heat the water much. The weather wasn't all that great on some days so a properly heated pool would have been nice. I find outdoor pools in almost every other vacation spot to be heated
