Cocktails, canapés and a cool evening with Seamless Recordings DJs, GRAHAM SAHARA & NICC JOHNSON plus JUDE live!!
In an evening dedicated to showcasing the very best of Seamless talent, DJs Graham Sahara and Nicc Johnson are on the decks, whilst on the mic, it's a pleasure to bring one of Ibiza's most talented vocalists, Jude, to join the party.
The event starts at 8pm right up on that Es Vivé rooftop, later moving downstairs to the Deco Bar and finally finishing in the hotel's Experience Bar where Tom Crane and friends step up to the controls until the early hours of the morning...
As per Seamless' first summer event, and as well as the artists, it's the new Es Vivé compilation that steps up for a starring role. Produced by Seamless Recordings, the 3CD album is filled with a fine blend of chillout, deep house, tech house and house, Seamless style.
Keep your eyes open! A limited number of copies of the album will be given away to the lucky few at the event; the compilation is also available to buy at the hotel.
The Showcase & The Album:
Nicc Johnson
...is the DJ's DJ. Born in Amsterdam, Nicc was thrust into music from an early age when he moved with his family to Ibiza. Like most people on the White Isle, his exposure to music, and in particular, electronic music, set the tone for what would play a large part of his life.
From his humble beginnings playing music at the Pacha Flagship Clothing store, at the tender age of 16, he has DJed across the globe and is currently in his 6th season as a Pacha Resident.
As a producer, Nicc Johnson has released music on Seamless Recordings, DCS Trax, Mother Recordings, Miguel Mig’s label Salted and the illustrious Large Music, a legendary Chicago label responsible for nurturing the careers of Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer and many other prominent underground house artists.
To date, every one of Johnson's tracks has received top ten status on one or more music download sites including Traxsource, Juno and Beatport.
His 2012 collaboration with Aussie duo Random Soul on legendary Large,reached number 1 on Traxsource and his newest release on Berlin Label, Mother Recordings, is already in the Top 100 after 5 days.
Graham Sahara
...is a very familiar Ibiza face who has been and continues to be a resident of the both legendary Ibizan super club Pacha Ibiza, and also Km5 Bar Lounge for the last 10 years. Graham has been an Ibiza resident since the legendary party days of the 1990's and has graced the decks of pretty much every super club and venue of note on the island. He is also head of A&R for Seamless Recordings as well as producing music with releases on labels including Spinnin', Pacha Recordings, MOS and Seamless.
Jude
...is originally from the UK, now resident vocalist in Ibiza, Jude started her musical career at an early age, studying and performing for many years before arriving in Ibiza.
She has written, performed and recorded with many electronic music producers, including Rui Da Silva, and Wax:On records and most recently recording with DC10 residents System of Survival. During the last year Jude has been in the studio unremittingly, writing and recording her personal album. Electronic with a mix of life influences...

CD1 compiled and mixed by T_Mo the chillout moniker of Timo Garcia including his exclusive mix of Sander Kleinenberg´s My Lexicon. Timo Garcia is a hugely respected producer.
CD2 compiled and mixed by Tom Crane, a producer and DJ as well as being a mover and shaker in celebrity circles of Ibiza and London, last year he compiled Blue Marlin Ibiza and promotes and DJs at Es Vive every Friday, and is music director of Ocean Beach Club.
CD3 compiled and mixed by Seamless boss Graham Sahara who, as well as managing the label, resident at Pacha Ibiza and also the original resident of the hotel some 10 years ago.

(FIX/Ibiza/31 JULY 2013): For those still wrapping their heads round the gigantic smorgasbord of party options in Ibiza this summer, it's always good to have a nudge in the right direction from an old veteran, so what better time to introduce you to the Balearic based record label, Seamless Recordings, whose third event of the season takes place this Friday 2 August from 8.30PM at one of the island's most emblematic hotels- Hotel Es Vive.
Following on from two very successful events so far this summer, this third gathering at Es Vive, it's fair to say, is where the boys behind the label gracefully pass the gauntlet/headphones to the girls, with this, the launch of Seamless Recordings' latest compilation album, ‘Venus in Motion- Somebody's Heaven' as the highlight of the event.
With that passing of power in mind, it makes perfect sense then that headlining this Friday's event is Venus In Motion herself- the alter ego of Angel Johnson, a renowned House music DJ who began her career way back in 1991. A veteran of her trade and a pioneer in helping smash the stereotype of what was once considered a uniquely male vocation. No better woman for the job…
As well as Angel's love of House, she has always been passionate about the more down tempo, groovy, after hours music that resides comfortably - or sometimes uncomfortably - under the Chill Out umbrella. Angel had always written, produced, collaborated and hung out in studios but it's artists like Massive Attack, Nightmares On Wax, Everything But The Girl etc... that first inspired her to want to write her own album - laying down the many songs that had formed in her head over the years. In 2005 Angel set up her own studio, set her mind to the task and Venus In Motion was born.
All the key ingredients and some essential factors for the fresh vibe behind Venus In Motion's debut album, Walking in Limbo, released in 2007. It was signed to Spain's largest independent record label, Blanco y Negro, it won hearts and minds and earned early admiration from some of Ibiza's leading names behind the music and DJ sets you so often experience during the white Isle's famed, magical sunsets. The album also features one of the only covers to gain family support from the estate of Bob Marley – for This Woman, a stunning interpretation of No Woman No Cry.
The new album Somebody's Heaven, follows suit with beautifully crafted songs, quality production and that inimitable injection of sweet melancholy. The music itself is an eclectic mix inspired by jazz, soul, folk and dub. It embodies both an electronic and an organic vibe. The tracks distinctively weave together the sounds from long term collaborators like Chris Bucknall on keyboards, Tony Dallas on guitar and Karl Bingham on bass… sweetly elevated by the awesome vocal talents of Cherry Mars, Siobhan Lynch, Naomi Moss and Jack Kenworthy. Venus In Motion can frequently be heard at the worlds coolest lounge bars and sunset strip cafes, and regularly play-listed on Radio Stations like Ibiza Sonica Radio helping Venus in Motion to reach an even wider international audience.
Joining her in the Es Vive booth, two more female professionals of the house scene since, like, ever. Seamless Recordings welcomes back, with very open arms, Ms. Abigail Bailey (Seamless artist and the lady responsible for taking the roof off Hotel Es Vive's Deco Bar at the Seamless Hotel Es Vive Album launch back in June) and long term island resident DJ, Clara de Costa, a woman who hardly needs an introduction round these parts, pioneer and long term resident DJ at Es Paradis, radio host and much sought after DJ- this lady forms part of the island's musical heritage. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is a line up that will do Seamless proud.
But, of course, as they do, the boys also want a go and so, from midnight, it's a quick shimmy to the hotel's Experience Bar, where Seamless Label Manager Graham Sahara will be joined by another Seamless Recordings collaborator- bring him on, Mr Tom Crane, a man who's proved his musical worth and then some in the short time since he decided to make Ibiza his home. Between them, these two are responsible for putting together the recently launched Hotel Es Vive Album, and doing a bloody good job of it too…it's safe to assume they'll cause an appropriate stir in the Experience Bar…
Meanwhile, back to us ladies, and as well as the complementary cava and the 100 Venus in Motion CD giveaway on the night, Hotel Es Vive are offering a 10% discount on their Spa treatments and membership packages, applicable on the evening of the event (See Reception for more details). And important to note- this offer also applies to the men- metro, hetro or homo- everybody needs a day at the spa once in a while… and if you're too macho for that carry on, treat your lady to a Spa Day instead..God knows she deserves it…
