We stayed in the bay area last year (San Remo) and personally i think it's a good location for a mix of ages, nothing felt too far away and there were plenty of groups around that were of mixed ages and there was something to suit everyone. Planning a group trip for a 40th and we'll definitely stay around the bay.
Yeah I'm going Sunday staying mar atmantis I prefer bay u can get some sleep.

They wouldn't listen can't please everyone but managed to get a good price for the Jet so worked out in the end.

I went in middle of october for closings in 2017 it was 26c tops - very hot in the room & a window for a balcony lol. Food was naff I thought, the cups are token based, (pay €2 euro for cup) hand your cups back you get your token back.... music around the pool, last all in service 11pm. Entertainment on the night. Found it a mix of 18 - 50 never any trouble and all for a good time

Booked a room with balcony, wont be eating/buying any drinks from hotel, not bothered about entertainment:lol:

In general is it nice though? Still have time to change if need be?

Here we go...

New Concept Hotel Group hotel: ROMEO´S Motel & Diner!

Lost highways, express romance, riding in a Mustang on a coast to coast to road trip, and an infinite number of cinematographic sequences filmed in motels and diners across the US of A. These are the inspirations behind the new hotel from Concept Hotel Group: Romeo’s Motel & Diner. The sixth hotel from the group that has revolutionised Ibizan accommodation will open its doors in summer 2020.

The hotel’s interior design, once again undertaken by the Ilmiodesign studio, transports us to the classic landscapes of American road movies from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, with a nod to the iconic love motels of the period, and completed with the stylish design details that are already the hallmarks of Concept Hotel Group.

Each of the hotel’s zones are designed to offer a completely unique experience in Ibiza. Starting from the imposing neon sign in the hotel’s parking lot through to the classic balconies that are so characteristic of American road motels.

Situated in the parking lot, and sharing the stage with the diner’s neon and steel façade, is the drive-in wedding chapel, which will undoubtedly be one of the most talked about and photographed places in Romeo’s.

The diner will also serve as the lobby, and it invites guests to enter a hotel which is wrapped in a seductive seventies atmosphere, with booths and tables on which hamburgers, soft drinks and milkshakes are served, along with all the iconic elements imaginable, paying attention to the tiniest detail.

The pool area will be where the daytime action takes place, with a classic diving board, sun loungers, double sunbeds, retro parasols and a kitsch, heart-shaped jacuzzi which will quickly become the star of Instagram. Classic soundtracks will form the musical playlist heard by the pool, where the DJ booth is situated.

Each of the rooms will be named in honour of a stop on the legendary Route 66, such as Las Vegas or Tucumcari, making guests feel that they are in an authentic American road motel, along with the superb design flourishes that are the hallmark of the Group’s hotels. The rooms will be decked out with analogue telephones, fringe lamps, vintage fans, themed neon lighting, a mirror with a personalised phrase above the bed, and seedily seductive lighting that will make the entire hotel glow in red.
In addition, the rooms will be equipped with all of the Group’s usual elements such as a Marshall speaker and a SMEG fridge, this time finished in passionate red.

Finally, there will be a secret room called “Play Room.” This roguish area (which can be hired for private events) is for sinners, and is kitted out with a pole dance zone, karaoke, private bar, leopard sofas, disco balls and a collection of framed photographs featuring classic casinos. This private area can only be accessed through a secret entrance.

The next time you visit Ibiza you will surely feel like Tim Roth, sat in front of Amanda Plummer and saying the words that only those who understand romance and sin can say: "I love you, Honey Bunny."

would you prefer another impersonal all-white hotel? there's plenty of those already. all the CHG hotels are different and have character!

Not sure I get the point of booking a hotel with a Vegas look when you can just go to Vegas though?

Whereabouts will this be?

Little bit more positive about it in that case, that area needs investment and can't think of any 'theme' hotels over that way

water taxi stop is just outside the back of the hotel, we used it to go to cala conta which was a great afternoon. All in all it's a good location in my opinion, we went mid october and it was still pretty busy
