Hotel discussion thread [2017/2018]

hi has anyone stayed at the grand palladium in PDB? looking at going all inclusive has
anyone got any views on this good or bad? is the all inclusive food or drink good quality / value?

i'm going at the start of May
reading into it - food seems to get good reviews & looks like the drinks are brand names, not cheap generics

Its different I'll give it that. Stands out like a sore thumb in Calo des Moro , anyone know if the Sol Bahia will return?

any recent thoughts on the hostal cala boix please? we booked it provisionally. My girlfriend is really keen on it! Did you stay there @Amigo or just eat at Noria?
 
Yeah just been to La Noria KWU. That location would be a cracking base camp for exploring the North though.
 
Never heard bad things about Hostal Cala Boix,very friendly team at the restaurant when we went two or three years ago...
But avoid La Noria,our last lunch there was a disaster,and i was a hugh fan of the place...Since they decided to close the restaurant at the end of 2018,it's a disaster.
 
well,you are not so far from San Carlos,Las Dalias,or Cala San Vicente for the nice restaurant "on the beach",they have all veggie menus...
 
Sol Bahia seems to be listed on a few booking sites for this year so hopefully they have got a lovely place sorted out .
Costamar was the first place I stayed on the island back in 98 and I've never strayed from call des Moro since. Not sure how wiki will fare, as long as they don't move Ibiza weekender in!
