Must get some!!

Go get yourself some big milkshake a la the $5 milkshake in Pulp Fiction and I'm sure the craving will pass.

That's if you can't find the real thing.

On a related note:

I'm Canadian, but I lived in the uk for two years and I would have unbelievable cravings for a North-American-style milkshake on a weekly basis.

Now that I'm back in Canada I *never* crave a milkshake.

It HAS been quite awhile since I have had those.

So you can't get any milkshakes in the UK!!!!

uh oh................

You can't get an ice cream-based milkshake in the UK, no.

Not unless you go to an American-themed diner (there's an excellent, albeit expensive, one in Soho, by Les Mis) or McDonalds or something.

British milkshakes are flavoured milk. Not my cup of tea, let's say.

What's the bar directly to the left of the seating area as you face the horchateria?

do you mean zoo?

Tango maybe?

here are both:

I remember it looking a little different, but it might just be the wide-angle lens. I would say Zoo is the one - the ad projected on the side of the building gave it away.

I assume if you turned to the right from where that pic was taken, you'd be facing the seating area for the horchataria? And behind you are boats?

So I cannot give an opinion on that, but I only say that the one with chufa .

Thats it, the chufa is a "tuberculo" (i dont know how to translate this) like small potatoes.

The taste of rice's Horchata is no way similar as the chufa's horchata.
Rice's horchata isnt sell in Spain (Im spanish, and I never have seen it)

The chufa can also been eaten as is.
