Home Made Ice Cannon - ideas?

Sorry grego, but never fear, it is a yearly party (this is the third annual) so if you will be in the states next July it is always on the 3rd Sat.

cool, loving the idea of trying to recreate an amnesia-esque ice cannon:eek:

As the man who invented The Ducksafe (TM - our lawyers are watching!) I just might be able to help (if you can find, me if no-one else can.....)

It didn't work like at the clubs, but it felt amazing to stand under... The problem was probably not enough dry ice, or it wasn't broken up fine enough... It did do a good job of keeping the dance floor cool so people weren't sweating like they would have otherwise. The party was great, we had some amazing costumes, and we went through a ton of booze. I was too busy and distracted to video tape any of it but I will post pics soon...

My company sells Dry Ice here in the UK, we're actually looking to open up office in Ibiza so if you're intrested in Dry Ice pop me an email please! Sales@vapourcreations.com

We also have mobile bars which we want to push over there.

As for the origioanl questions about the cannons, the best make-shift version you could use would be a CO2 fire extingiusher, as dry ice is just solid Co2 pushed through a jet like in a fire extinguisher.

We use dry ice in cocktails, you can see more here - www.vapourcreations.com
