Wow congratulations. thats fantastic! :p

Yeah her course was a really hard course to get a 2:1 on, out of 39 people only ten managed it so she is really pleased. she deserves it though.

Space was amazing on the second Sunday, much preferred it to Opening, got back yesterday afternoon - the journey was a bit 8O 8O 8O cos we went straight from Space but we both feel back with the land of living today.

Fab holiday tho, great to see you all :D

I was really disappointed with WLS Opening the week before. We all were. So much so that we said when we go out to Ibiza in September, we probably wouldnt go and would just spend the day in Bora Bora as it was fantastic.

It was just a rubbish line-up for Opening - Woolford, Facuilli, Smokin Jo - all a big pile of poo and not worthy of new terrace slots

What dates are you planned for Sept - both weeks we're there are WAY better line-ups than for Opening.

Btw Babs, did you and Bec speak lots of Spanish during your holiday?

Where is Bec, is she at work tomorrow? I want to find out if her spray tan lasted all week.

If the bit at the back is VIP now where are the bars? 8O From what I remember 2 of the mian bars for that room where up there. :?

None of the Spanish we learnt was of any use to an Ibiza hols, I mean do you really need to count up to 1000 and talk about your family   I just used all the basics which I knew before I started my classes anyway. I think I need a better class for next year which teaches us something of use

Becki wasn't impressed with her spray tan, it wasn't that dark when we saw her. Mine went really patchy half way thru holiday but I think that's cos I was so skanky I wasn't showering and moisturising

You should have come when we did, we watched soooooooooo many games you'd have been in your element ;)

Will keep everything xd for tonight, me being half Spanish these days - uno, dos, tres...... ;)

Hola!

I'm back, though not sure how much of me is in the land of the living lol. My sleep patterns are so funked, I slept all day yesterday then couldnt sleep at all last night, so now Im in work feeling 8O 8O 8O
Great holiday though, glad we managed to do some nice sensible things too, lovely romantic meals, new beaches etc. We went to Formentera at last (even though we arrived late, stoopid old boat  ) and also went to Salinas which was lovely too.

Sil/Holly - I made use of my Spanish out there, Babs is just being the class brat lol. You've got to try and use as much of it as you can can't you? I thought the numbers came in quite useful. On Sunday I bought my Space ticket using creditcard, the guy called in to the girl who was putting it through "Ochenta y tres euro".... now me knowing my numbers realised he thought I wanted two tickets not one, so I said to him "uno no dos!" I wouldn't have known was 83 was in Spanish unless I'd learnt my numbers would I?! The numbers also came in useful for cabs and stuff, like a cab came to 26euros and I told him to take "trienta" etc ;) also for our room number which was "cuatro zero ocho" :D
I also used things like "Cuantos?" for asking how much etc etc. And obviously "por favour" and "gracias".
I think even if you only know a tiny bit of Spanish it makes all the difference when you at least try and use it as much as you can, which I did, even though everyone else took the p1ss

My spray tan looked great on the first day or two I had it, but by the time I arrived in Ibiza I'd been sweating a bit, then i went on the beach and it all seemed to come off :( I'd probably do it again though, it only cost a tenner so it's worth it even if it only lasts a day or two!

Hola Becks! :D

You really know how to take the max of your very basic spanish lessons, don't your?  ;)

It's suprising how many things you need your numbers for! Taxi's, hotel rooms, ticket prices etc etc
