how much do you reckon it would cost to go to ibiza for sundays at space , DC10 and cocoon closing? 17th to 20th september

I'm thinking £106 for flights, £100 for entry to places (inc cocoon afterparty)

£50 for food

£150 drinks etc..

£60 accom

= £300. Hmm, that's actually doable... 8O

(la la la... not planning another trip at all   )

Have you got flights for that?? I'd allow more for flights cos by booking at this time they've always gone up loads based on previous years.

that's what they are from stanstead - just checked.

£450 might be a little less doable though

i found a flight this morning for a mate for the following wknd nick (to take in WLS closing, dc10 etc) using www.skyscanner.net

it was £71 return but you could change the dates by a day or two and the times and still keep it under a £100. throw in £25 a night for playa sol and you've onto a winner.;)

playa sol is perfect for what it is - we paid £100 for a week each (3 of us in an apartment that sleeps 4 but 3 is much more comfortable - two in twins and one in the living area) . Aircon included, tiny weeny kitchen (we cooked pasta just once there, ate out the rest of the time. Balcony which is essential really.

Small pool, which isn't that nice because it's not really much of a sun trap except in the middle of the day due to it being surrounded by buildings, and there's no breeze. But the beach obviously isn't far.

Major bonus - no kids  (or at least, I didn't see any). Big groups of spaniards/italians/brits can make some noise, but double glazing blocks most of that out if it bothers you.

this thread is just me speculating.... someone at work is quite keen to go you see...

(it was watching the DC10 videos and I realised that I HAD to go back NOW  )
