when i came back i had shards of glass in my feet. bizarrely (or more like luckily) enough they kind of grew out with my skin, but i was hobbling about for a good couple of weeks.

having never experienced the terrace before the roof, I couldn't say if it was better, but it was definately my best experience of my holiday too. the crowd were going mad for paul woolford.

glad you had a good time!
 
I've got to say, I went to Space with an open mind regarding the new terrace, but I was sorely disappointed. It didn't open until 6pm and it was waaaaay too crowded. The atmosphere was very good - lights and sound excellent, especially on the main dancefloor - but you just could not move without forearm-smashing someone (I may resemble him at times but I really am no Giant Haystacks), and to be honest I missed the daytime amphitheatre of the old terrace. To me the new terrace just means less of what was almost unique about Space (dancing in the scattered sun) and more of what I could get elsewhere (dancing inside when it's dark).

My two-penn'orth. I'll still go back next year.

Welcome home!! I trust the rest of the holiday was carnage and the sensible Barbie ( :twisted: :twisted: ) I saw for the first few days of your holiday was sent back to London and the Barbie Im normally used to came out to play!!!
Last week was absolute hell in work. Ive now got flu and at home pulling a sicky!! I guess I deserve it after those last 4 days I had.

normal babs was back after my 2 days of being civillised, hence me coming home in the state i am now :lol:

i really felt for you when we saw you off on your final friday 8O see you real soon :D
 
Wow. Sorry to hear about you hitting the floor that hard in Bora Bora. :cry:

I had a bruise on my knee from swimming in some vicious waves in PDB that somehow got bigger over time and nearly overtook my entire knee; it didn't hamper my walking or hurt much but it looked very nasty. After I returned home it magically disappeared in a day. :?

Also had a nice jellyfish sting on my left hand, but since I was constantly in salt water it didn't bother me at all until I got home. After washing in freshwater half of my hand swelled up and it itched like crazy. Vinegar fixed me up fine.
