Best local booze on the island

Hope someone comes along and snaps it up.

Come to think of it... how much do you think it'd cost?

I would do it... well, subject to a little due diligence (reviewing the books, etc.)

My PR background and the number of marketing people we've got around here, we could certainly do something with that business. The big question is, how much it would cost to take them over and what kind of credit line we could get to keep it afloat until we get the business on good footing?

And do they have a room in which I could toss a bed to sleep on, because I wouldn't have enough to buy property along with the business

The reason that the company went bust may be that its product was not selling:!::idea::idea:

I wouldn't touch it with Spotlights money let alone mine.

Its too much of a niche market and importantly, there are too many other established brands out there.

Keep the cash in a dutch bank people

I thought there was about 3-4 brand names selling Heirbas in Ibiza. Im going by memory from looking at the selection at the duty free in the Airport..........

I think Mari Mayans is a high po.

I think there are 3-4 brands, Bez (I seem to remember one other besides the three listed in Moha's post) but of all the ones I tried I always thought Mari Mayans was the best. It's also certainly the most recognized due to the unique bottle and familiar graphics.

Just because they're bankrupt doesn't mean that they don't sell product, nor that they're not the market leader. It could just as easily be due to poor management, high debt, etc.

Might be a niche product at the moment. But in those cases you've got to a) conquer your niche completely and then b) expand your niche  Ibiza has cache even for those who only know about the island but haven't been there. If I could get that stuff to Moscow, I'm sure I could market it such that it'd be selling almost as much as on the island within a couple of years!

Thats a lot of time and cash investment to expand any product into a new market. Years of research and development, marketing and brand concept. As I said just wouldn't invest my Money in it:)

Anyway those crazy russians just drink high proof Vodka dont they...........Heirbas to them would be like ribena..........plus I would imagine the Drink needs a warm climate to be fully appreciated??

Na, dude... Well, normally, yes. But I've been living here 8 years and know the club scene well. Ibiza still has far away mystique for a lot of people. You could easily sell it on the back of that.

The owner of Pacha Moscow is a mate... how easy would that cross-promotion be?

It'd be a club drink, though... not so much a shot-after-dinner thing, although I could work that angle too

Of course not... they'll drink anything alcoholic
