Just home with friends from our usual trip to Ibiza. On this occasion we were fortunate enough to be invited to the 'Sa Cornucopia' Restaurant, situated in Santa Gertrudis. Without doubt after touring the island for many years this was a magical evening accompanied by wonderful first class food. Having been to Santa Gertrudis many times, it not a restaurant thats very much on show which is a shame. No doubt theres probably many hidden gems......................this was certainly one.:D

thanks kgldsun :!:

here is another one:

can lluch in ctra. cala llonga
apart from their menu del dia from mon to fri for 9€ (paella on thu), on sundays you can get for 14€:
- bread/alioli
- big salad
- paella (you can repeat)
- bottle of conde de caralt wine (white, rose or red)
- dessert

lovely food, friendly service and, most importantly, cheap as chips ! !

who is the next one to recommend us a "hidden gem" :?:

btw, during the last three months i have been eating in pk2, winchs, JDs, can cosmi, subway (twice), brisa de la mar (twice), ancient people, tapas, destino (twice), the fish shack (twice), can lluch, muay thai, duquesa playa and the new wok gran oriente in santa eulalia.....

Totally agree McRackin, they even go out of there way for one of us whom dislike,... (how can you dislike?) paella!

I really like Chorizo Paella is that in the €14 meal deal at can lluch? How much is it the rest of the week?

Thanks for the list of restaurants, which is the best closest to San An?

I went to a lovely local restaurant, at the top of the road on the roundabout, in Port De Torrent. I was staying at the Barcelo Pueblo so it wasnt too far from there..........

I cant remember the name of the place but it did a mean Menu Del Dia and it was so full we had to wait for a seat. Hopefully one of the locals could help me out with the name....

There were 2 swinger clubs and a brothel in the vicinity also8O

yep, you can't beat can lluch for paella, it's my nearest bar which is handy and always visit when on the Island. last time I was with my family and they came back 3 times to ask if we wanted any more! Fantastic value and a fantastic family that own the bar, but keep it under your hat or I may not get a table next time!

Hidden gem

Hola we have a favourite restaurant in Santa Eulalia thats a hidden gem its just of the paseo maritimo on the left about 50 meters before the big Art shop its called Cana Suni its run by Suni and her husband Petu, they do a fantastic fish soup with puff pastry on top thats so hot it takes 5mins before you can eat it.
regards Stu
