Here I am in Ibiza scouting for a home, permanent move.

Hi, as the title says. I'm staying with friends whilst I look for somewhere to make a permanent move with my partner, our business and the pets.

Any advise is hugely appreciated, especially on any inside tips on the rental\private vs agency game.

The obvious difference between private vs agency is an agency charges a fee of (as far as I can see) whatever they want, usually the equivalent of a month's rent... whereas a private rent just charges the deposit and the rent.... If you try these 2 sites idealista.com and enalquiler.com they advertise a mix of both private & agency (it should say on the listing if it's a person or an agent).... They'll give you a general idea of prices etc...
