HELP

No sympathy here im afraid. Its people like this that give the british in Ibiza a bad name. Five years sounds about right if it stops others polluting the island with drugs.

Hey Timelord, have you just stepped out of the 50s?

The "pollution" caused by drug use is far less hazardous than that caused by a prison sentence.

What does putting someone in jail for 5 years achieve?

Ignore the tw@. He's only said it to wind us up.

Fair play- if someone sentenced me to 5 years in Jail I'd do a barrow-load of drugs on my release just to try and blot out the experience. And to ease the pain in my poor botty 8)

Andy,

I supose it's a delicate situation, but I think it's a bit naif to expec someone could help you in a ibiza forum. Anyway, mikkak advice is the most reasonable thing to do, and actually she adviced the same last year when you asked about it

we spoke to a spannish lawler who advised us, but they want 2 grand!!!!! how can we get help on this?

Surely the first step would be to speak to a criminal lawyer in the UK to see if you are covered by legal aid vis a vis the possible extradition. If not, then a few hundred pounds would probably get you good English law advice about whether your girlfriend is likely to be extradited for the offence.

Try contacting the Law Society for a recommendation on criminal solicitors in your area. Even if you aren't covered by legal aid, most will do a fixed fee initial interview for around £50.
