HELP.....Please!

Ha Ha.....Thanks Morbyd! I understood your spelling! And I already have a map of Cala D'Hort, so I will make it that far and then hope that my eyes, and my not so keen sense of direction, take me the rest of the way!

Thanks again everyone! If anyone wants to make the hike to the top with us for a sunset and a bottle of wine...let me know!

M

As memory goes you actually have to go down from the top of the cliff/hill to the beach and I think there is actually places to park at the top.

What do you mean go down to the beach? I think I am trying to get up to the top of the cliff? Don't I want to be up high to capture the view from the pictures that Sylvia posted? I am confused now.....

Is it quite a hike from the place you parked your car (from the cactus in that picture)? Is the road a dirt road? LOL sorry for all the questions Silvia....but I am determined to take a picture from that spot above Es Vedra! Maybe we can just come and pick you up and you can come with us.....lol we'll drink Sangria' and watch the sunset!!! ;)

Silvia.....you posted this message on a previous thread : " I was there last summer but I don't know the name. My local friends just drove me there... I think it's on the way to cala d'hort then in a point you take a road (camí de carro, més aviat) on your left? "

Do you know if that road (cami de carro, mes aviat) is labeled at all, and if so, do you know if it is a paved road or a dirt road?

Sorry Agent, as I said before I'm very bad in orientation plus when I'm in Ibiza I let my local friend to drive me around the island and I don't pay much attention to directions :?

I don't know if it was labeled and two years ago it wasn't paved at all

leave it to me! the watchtower which overlooks vedra is called Cap des Jueu, the 'road' to it is unpaved but you can park at the junction with the cala d'hort - es cubells road. the tower is signposted with one of the pink historic monument signs with the name Cap des Jueu written on it.

Thanks for the help Stephen.....but I am trying to get HERE: (The cliffs above Es Vedra......not the watchtower)

Do you know how to get to that spot?

Agent, if you rent a car out there (trust me, its totally worth it), they will give you a map of the entire Island. Then, you can use your navigation skills and the signs are pretty clear to point out where you are going. Have fun, and good luck!!

Yeah....we definitely booked a rental car, so I will just rely on a map! Thanks everyone for all the posts! Hopefully the next pictures of Es Vedra at sunset will have me and my friends in them!
