..Right!

Wanted to go Dance Valley for my birthday.

Got tickets and everything for free, accomodation would probably be sorted for free once I got there as well and theres people that I know whos going to working/partying Dance Valley.

Couldnt go as couldnt afford flights :(

Arranged with some other (V close mates) to goto see Rolando in manchester on the friday instead
Then was planning on going Dpercussion sat day and probably Sankeys at night.

Then. A mate of mine phoned up and then it came up that he wont need his flights to Amsterdam this weekend as hes got to go some other places. He said I could have his flights and all Id have to pay for is the change of name which would be fook all.

Meaning a trip to Amsterdam and Dance Valley that I cant afford but could probably stretch to as its a bargain. BUT I don't want to f*** off my other mates now that Ive arranged to go out with them.

If I stay in the country (for the first time since 99!) It wouldnt cost as much and Id see more mates and finally get to check out dpercussion. If I goto Amsterdam I'll finally see what its like and get to check out Dance Valley for the first time.

What should I do??? :( xx

Err I dunno, my head isn't working to give advice today :? I just thought I'd reply so your post wasn't all lonely ;)

Without a shadow of a doubt, go to Dance Valley! 8)

You've been talking about this event for aaaages, and now you have a chance to go, for a cheaper price! If your friends really know you they'll know how much you want to go to DV, and undertsand your decision ;)

Any real mates in the circumstances described, particularly ones with an understanding of what Dance Valley is, won't hold it against you if you go.

I was at D'Percussion last year and while it was a nice day out by the canal because the sun was out, it was nothing spectacular.

Bring me back some inflatable clogs ;)

D-percussion line up looks pretty good this yr, but it's a bit of a "manc thing" ;)

Don't get me wrong - it was a good day out. But DV looks like Nishdance Heaven, so he should ascend!

Who's on at D'Percussion then JJ?

well, what stuck out for me were (in no particular order)

Stephen Fretwell
John Mc Cready
Andy Votel
9 Black Alps
Durutti Column
Stanton Warriors
Marc Riley
David Holmes
Unabombers

ok not dance valley, but not a bad line up for a weekend under the arches ;) and for free!!

Agreed. You going back up? Might check the weather and consider visiting friends....

Plans going a bit balls up here like

Phoned to try and sort accomodation then off a mate.

Turns out you might not be able to get into Dance Valley once you leave. So my mates are taking tents as they might be staying there for the duration of the weekend (how f***ing messy will them cnuts be come monday  )

Unfortuantely, the BASTARD rain storm decided to do this to my tent at Glastonbury;

Meaning that I might have my decision on where im going this weekend done for me (which is a bit of a relief in a way)

 @ Hookers & Smoke. Word 8)

It's true that you can't leave in the evening after the first day. I read about that on the website.

Doesn't matter. Sleep is optional anyway

Stop making excuses. Dance Valley is your answer!

unfortunately i cant make it as we are doing a bbq @ chez jj, few of my mates are doing it tho ;)

Carl Cox, Sasha, Deep Dish, Lisa Lashes, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Chris Liebing, Darren Emerson, Seb Fontaine, Timo Maas etc etc etc.

Are you mad? Its going to be chaos! You gotta go.... It is probably going to piss down all weekend as well but who cares?
And its in Amsterdam! So while I will be taking a tent there is a good chance I wont be in any state to assemble it...

nish, a one-off tent is not doing that much of a dent in your pocket - remember, it´s for one night only and you probably won´t even sleep that much that night. Friends of mine bought a 15,- Euro tent, flew over from Cologne for Global Gathering and just threw it away afterwards because they were too lazy to cleanly disassemble and take back

and Dance Valley could be really an experience for you - although the weather could be better, I guess

well, we´re still hoping for sun on saturday :)
