Help me plan my partners 30th Birthday weekend...

Playa Den Bossa has one of the highest homocide rates in the world, second only to San Pedro in Honduras. San Antonio has never ever had any recordings of murder and was recently voted the safest and coolest place to live in the world.

what a load of bollox dirk. just ignore him please. i'm raising a child here and we live near to playa den bossa - ibiza is the friendliest and safest place i know. many of my friends have moved here from big cities exactly for this reason :)

My thoughts exactly James....LOL :)

the beach in san in just isnt comparable to pdb , nowhere near as nice! Unless you prefer swimming amongst oily boats?) Bars yes I'd say it wins and probably restaurants too.

Well, I seem to have started a rather heated debate! I'm happy with where I've booked, although i'll keep my eyes open for axe wielding homicidal maniacs! ;) Can't imagine this will be my first visit, so I can try San An next time.
So glad I started this thread now, as I would definitely have missed the best bits of the clubbing by peaking too soon! @deepseadiver thanks, i'm loving your ideas, and i'm definitely thinking i'll have a quiet(er) one Friday. I'll probably spend the night eating and trying to stay awake late to turn my body clock around for the next 2 nights! Sunset in San An sounds perfect for that. @Dirk Bigler Are there any good seafood restaurants you can recommend?

El Chiringuito on the San An side or Fish Shack and Sa Calleta on the PDB side. Tapas in San An (more central) is also well worth a visit if you like Tapas (funnily enough)

Moss side is quite up and coming. Lots of money been and still being put into regeneration. ;)

Wasn't someone murdered in the west end last year or atleast beaten to an inch of their life on the west end?

Someone suffered mild chafing in the West End last year due to a simple misunderstanding. Don't exaggerate. One of the safest places in the world.
