Help me make a decision!

ok, if you had these two options which would you choose.


1.Take a 6:00 am flight from Stansted.. arrive in Ibiza at 9:00 with a full day
.. however because I'm staying in Beckenham, the only way to get to the aiport by this time will be taking a bus or train to Victoria at night, then another bus at abt 3:00 am.. which will result in no sleep, staying awake all night, traveling throughout the night on buses and being dead when arriving, BUT, I arrive with a full day to spend in the sun.. or at DC10


2. Take an evening flight on the same day, being able to sleep in, take a train at a normal hour, train to stansted, but not arrive until after 11 pm on the Monday night. I will be well rested for Cocoon, but have spent a day in Beckenham rather than ibiza


:? :) which option would you pick?
 
Option 1 without a doubt, I don't see the point of night flights. Ok you miss out on a bit of sleep but you get an extra full day in Ibiza, you have time to unpack etc and then have a few hours sleep on the beach in the sunshine as opposed to Beckenham.
 
I'll be there for about 10 days..

option one is nicer, but in a sense I will be spending all Sunday night traveling on buses..throughout London..
 
What about booking a hotel in Stansted airport for the night before your flight? At least that way you could arrive there early on the Sunday, rest, get a decent night's sleep, before waking at 5am and catching your flight from Stansted! I found this link

There's 3 hotels on site. At least you know you wont miss your flight, and wont be totally knackered for your first day in Ibiza! It depends how much money you've got to spend I guess, a nightly rate at one of these hotels probably costs £50-100?
 
thanks .. I will check the link Becki .. I'll be there the following Monday as well so i can do my DC-10 /Cocoon session..
but yes my gut feeling was the early monday flight anyway!:)
 
easy decision, whatever you think you'll have most fun doing. i.e. option 1.

going to ibiza clubbing is not about being rested and fresh and ready, its about having as much fun as possible, so defo go early and get some rays on the beach or have a sleep and head to dc10 in the afternoon;) .
 
Option 1 definitely.

:roll: Ahhh, I remember the good old days....travelling for 5 hours on National Express to Stansted....sleeping the night on the floor on our suitcases outside WH Smith in the airport and then 7am flight to Ibiza! :lol:
 
:? ^^^ yes that is exactly what I'm not looking forward too, traveling on buses and sleeping on the floor.. but #1 is the best option
