Help for 07 Trip

I'm doing my first visit this summer. Got a few questions though. If I am coming for about 2 weeks, what weeks should I come for. Openings? Closings? Somewhere in between where things are in full swing? Also; should I wait until there are more confirmed DJ lists so I can know the ones I want are there, or should I book early to avoid getting screwed over? If I am going to be focusing almost solely on non stop clubbing with some beach stuff thrown in, where would a good area be to stay? Also, can anyone recommend a specific hotel in this area?

if its your first time over it really doesnt matter when you go cos everything will be fantastic, id say book it as early as you can that way you have more money to spend over there. as for where to stay go for playa den bossa or san antonio- i quite like jet in playa den bossa cos its close to space and you can spit to the beach from your balcony but it isnt the classiest of establishments-suppose it depends on what your looking for.

Only, with regards to timing, I'd recommend the 2nd half of June or, if not, then mid September.

Don't worry too much about the DJs... there will always be people there you're interested in seeing (especially during those periods for the opening and closing parties).

If you're flying from Canada, not on a low-cost airline like of lot of our British friends, then it won't make AS much of a difference if you book 6 months or 2 months in advance. Just keep your eyes open for good deals to Spain and get a connecting flight out of Barca or Madrid on Vueling, Iberia, Spanair or Air Europa (then again, the cheap seats on those connecting flights could be full the later you wait. We're talking differences of 50eur each way)

forget about there not being choice of DJs. in a 2 week holiday you will almost defo have various options each night with big names playing practically every night.
 
Yea. Right now I'm planning on landing in Frankfurt so I can see a bit of Europe and hopefully hit Cocoon. Then make my way to Ibiza and spend some lovely time there. I still can't decide when to go though. The only thing that is making me want to get there early June is the fact that I really want to see the Space opening. John Digweed and Carl Cox......I've been dreaming of that for so long. CircoLoco the next day also sounds great. I'm also looking forward to the 18th when Cocoon opens at Amnesia. Is it worth it to organize your trip around the opening parties? Are they that much better?

PS: Would it be worth it to visit London for a bit (Turnmills and what not) or is that just time better spent in Ibiza?
