HELP CLub Paraiso (ibiza Rocks)

Please help,

does anyone know what the deal with ibiza rocks taking over the paraiso is, will there still be pre parties for tidy and judgement sundays, or will the hotel on be doing rock events only??
 
bar m did pre parties and still had the ibiza rocks once a week - i dont see why they wouldnt continue to do pre parties at the hotel - certainly not at the expense of "rock events" - i cant see andy not doing them - why wouldnt they ?

its not as if the paraisio is going to take over from bar m for live gigs... i would guess they may do the odd promo there, but its a hotel not a live music venue :)
 
cool, just looking for someone to clear this up for me, the hotel was bangin last year, dont want to wake up to mika or such like playin insted of the bangin tunes like last year.

Unless Bar M can get the correct license i wouldn't be surprised if they have bought this hotel so they can put on there ibiza rocks events there.

Why call it the Ibiza Rocks hotel and not have the gigs there?
 
I dont know if it has but the ibiza rocks hotel website has the following on it

"Live music events, pool parties, DJ sets and much more"

After last year, i would expect they have got things sorted so there events cant be stopped like they were last year. I cant see them openly advertising live music if they hadn't got the correct licence for it?

i went to see nightmares on wax play "live" down at cala d'hort last year - i didnt see a rock band in sight

that could mean anything from the below:

a) huge 50,000 people festival
b) big deal 2 day 30,000 people festival
c) 2 day 2000 festi
d) *snip*

z) a couple of people set up decks by a pool and play some records live

"live music events" covers all the above

when they decide to tell everyone what is going, we'll find out - speculation is a wonderful thing
 
I disagree. Playing records is not live music. Live music is bands / musicians and the creation of music 'live' as in not pre recorded. Glastonbury is a live music festival (lots of bands and artists playing instuments and making music) but global gathering is not. (its lots of Dj's playing records).

'Live Music' at the ibiza rocks hotel is not going to be a 50,000 people festival or a 30,000 people 2 day festival..... Its a hotel.
