If memory serves, and you're on the San An to Ibiza bus and want to visit Dalt Vila etc, then getting off at the first stop (when the bus stops on the street) is better than going to the station. I purposely stayed on the bus last year, just to see the new station, and on the way to the Old Town I walked passed the street where the bus stopped.
