I developed a very strong hatred for that song after being sat behind a a group of beer boys singing the chorus for most of the flight out there.
Had I been the pilot, I'd have ploughed the plain in to the floor just to make it stop.
Please note that I hadn't slept for 36 hours, I was a tad touchy.

We were driving to Stansted airport in the middle of the night in 2011 on our way to Ibiza and it came on the radio.
An apt moment...
2015...
Didin't tell the kids we were all going to Ibiza for a holiday (26 May 2015) and played it on a loop off of a CD on the way to the airport.
The wife and I were laughing as the 2 kids were singing along clueless that indeed they were: GOING TO IBIZA (OFF TO THE ISLAND)

just skimmed through the eurotastic Children of the 80s lineups featuring haddaway, corona, rednex (!) Genuinely intrigued by what kind of people attend these events in 2016! Those production factories dominated the 90s charts. The story you never read about in the britpop-obsessed press. We weren't all listening to Oasis. Some of us actually preferred Dr Alban. Corona performed a medley on some TVE late night gala not so long ago. Time hadn't been kind to the music. The cameraman was more interested in zooming down her top.
