Hello from sunny Costa Rica

Hello everyone, just a quick update from me on my travels (or more accurately, my stay-in-one-place-and-study-a-lot). I'm in Playa Flamingo in Costa Rica at the Spanish school here, 3 weeks into my study. I spent the first two weeks in the mountain rainforest campus of Monteverde. I've absolutely loved being a student again, and the natural beauty and diversity of this place is astounding. I{ve seen lots of monkeys, a 3 toed sloth (not in the mirror), held a tarantula in my hand, been 'ziplining' between giant rainforest trees at canopy level and have swum in a freshwater waterfall.. it's been quite the adventure already, yet the real adventure starts next weekend when Claire and I start backpacking through south america, beggining with the galapagos islands..

Hope all is well at home, good to see the gunners still top ;) Will check in soon and hopefully you{ll see me in the spanish forums too!

Mi novia y yo estamos en Quito en Ecuador ahora, el semana pasada visitamos las islas Galapagos, !son muy bonita y muy interesante! El mejor estuve nadiando con tortugas del Mar y jugando con Sea Lions (no sé ´sea lion´en español!). Las playas son perfecto con arena blanca y agua clara, y yo nunca antes veí muchas animales diferentes en una lugar.

Este Domingo nosotros vamos a viajar a Cuzcu y Machu Pichu, ¡yo no puedo esperar!

..y Buckley, yo recuerdo bien la llamada. Ellos dice aqui: "En la vida, una nunca saber" (o algun cosa!)

Translation: We´re in Quito in Ecuador at the moment having just returned from a 3 days tour to the Galapagos Islands. Absolutely stunning, and the wildlife there is unbelievable! Highlights were swimming with sea turtles and playing with the sea lions :) Next stop for us is Cuzco and the Machu Pichu, can´t wait!

ps Any Spanish speakers please feel free to correct my bad spanish, I know I´ve made lots of mistakes!
