Hello from Cyprus!

Just a quick hello (dont know how to say that in Cypriat?!:? ) from Cyprus.....NEVER EVER going to go away for work again all on my own!:cry:

Went to bed at the earliest time ever last night....8.30pm!!!

However....at least I get the afternoons off to hit the beach!!!8)

Anyone been here before....its actually very much like Ibiza but about 20 years behind!:? :lol: :lol: :lol: Nice people though....
 
Welllllllllllllllllllll, :roll: let me see..................OK....any suggestions what to put on dry hair on the beach? I´ve just got in and my hair is like straw?

That was the only thing I could think of ....sorry Babs!:? :roll: :lol:
 
I've got a question...

Lou what do you work as that enables you to go to these fancy countries and sunbathe on beaches etc etc? :lol:
 
where you staying Lou? My family live just outside Paphos......

Personally, I hate the place, and only go on protest!!!

I am just outside Protaras.....its ok....bit chav and holidayish....the beaches and the sea look nice.....but I definitely couldnt live here!!!!:?

I do the PR & marketing for a sports magazine in Marbella....so live there....but my boss has lots of properties so I am writing the fancy brochure and website for the developers here in Cyprus....hence why I have to visit the place and see what it is like....

So I presume you can speak fluent Spanish then? I really want to work abroad, hopefully Spain, later on in my life. I need to learn the language first though obviously :? How did you get to work over there or did you just go over there and try to find work?
I always get jealous when I read yours and Sil's weekend reports; "laid on beach, ate paella, rode moped in the sun" etc etc :evil: :lol:

I speak Spanish but no way near fluently:? .....however, I NEVER EVER use my Spanish in my job in Marbella....and since being in Cyprus...even less....EVERYONE speaks English...8O

With regards to getting a job here....if you know what you want to do then contact anyone and everyone with regards to that....be prepared to work for free for a while and believe me....it will certainly pay off...:D

I believe that everything happens for a reason and to be honest....I wouldnt be in Marbella now if it wasnt for my cnut of an ex from Ibiza....:( :? :D Sad but true....
