I'd say Eds or the moon for a quick swift 'one' cos they are quite cheap & then definitely Mango's for your pre kandi warm up...
Oh & the pub next to Pacific Edge "The Bull" smells like a toxic waste dump inside, avoid!!

I thought I was ill, until I found out that the air con wasn't working!!
Besides that it was a brilliant night & ever so friendly crowd!

the bar in chelms is quality. went there on saturday. proper good clientele. proper good "old" house music. played classics like promised land, unfinished sympathy, candi staton. mixed in with other lesser known house tracks, and some proper good laidback vibe tracks. Only letdown is that it shuts at 1 and the music is that loud.

the bar in chelms is quality. went there on saturday. proper good clientele. proper good "old" house music. played classics like promised land, unfinished sympathy, candi staton. mixed in with other lesser known house tracks, and some proper good laidback vibe tracks. Only letdown is that it shuts at 1 and the music is that loud.
you must of got lucky rob cos they dont always play that music,its normsaly a crowd full of 40 somethings alright now and again

Had huge fun on Sat night. really fun to see Nitefly and his very, very, very, very 
mates and the ever fine Mr Chewie.
It's been a long time since I've been out in Romford and walking down the high street to the club i felt like I was in one of those CCTV programmes on the telly. Very young, very drunk young folks wearing innapropriate clothing,staggering from out of Yates's etc etc etc.
The club was quite nice, hed kandi (matt collins + paul wilkins) were upstairs. Only a small room and about 100 peeps, just right. Happy happy happy vibes and a glammed up but very messy crowd. It made a nice change to dress up a bit to go out.
Tunes were pretty much as you would expect inc that Rune - Calabria, Rockin Music, a bit of Pink, So Much Love to Give, I've got the Pills, Static revenger-happy people (a particular fave of Mrs Rustywoo as it is her first Ibiza tune) Peyton - Higher place ( a particular fave of mine) and of course, Shined on Me.
Matt got all a bit "rawk" on our asses and Paul got all a bit acid at times. A night of big smiles and HUGE fun.
Thanks to Mr Collins makin it happen and being such an all round good chap. And to the people of Romford for not being quite as scary as i thought/remembered.
