Hed Kandi a sell out?

Understood, but this thread is developing into a 'you had to be there' situation.

Not trying to condone, defend or attack.

But what more is there to be said?

You had a bad night, but there have been lots of positive threads about the same night.

I just think you had to be there to have an opinion, and most people weren't

Hed Kandi music is more "grown up" in Ibiza ..

What are you trying to say here?

That I’m too young or inexperienced in the way's of Ibiza to understand...

Just because I am not a regular to this forum and am fairly new... just because I may be younger than you… does not meant that my maturity level... nor my understanding for music is any different from yours.

ME... this topic was brought about as there were a group of us stood outside of BarM one night after we'd bought our tickets there

It was a fairly mixed experience group and no, there not 18 - 30 beer boys...

The discussion went on for about 2 hours after and various comments came out… all I wanted to do was to see if anyone else shared one of the opinions… therefore there is room for discussion… don’t like it, or don’t see anything to discuss… don’t post… simple concept really.

Good god no .. I'd never say anyone was too young or inexperienced to give a view on music .. I have a 12 year old that knows more about music than I do !!

When I say "grown up" ... can I refer to my husband's review of Hed Kandi at El Divino on 10th July ...

Both Saffy and I commented on how it was different , but neither of us could properly say why , the following day I said to her "Grown Up Kandi" and we both agreed that was it but also realised we couldn`t articulate what we meant by that but it did sum up the night.
All I can say is that it was different to the nights in England and dare I say it was more sophisticated as were the crowd , far from "Brits abroad" there was a good cross section of cool people from all over Europe all up for a good night.

okay my fault, jumped the gun there.

i do know what you mean.. and it is down to individual tastes at the end of the day.. unfortunately it wasn't for me.

then again that was one night out of a season full, who's toi say i wouldn't love it if i go again in a few weeks time.

but the concensus i recieved was that there was something lacking and we couldn't put our fingers on what exactly.

it is different from the uk nights and the crowd like you say wasn't like "Brits Abroad" which i was pleased about.. but i don't know.. maybe it was me? But the friendly athmosphere i am used to just wasn't there.

probably a bit off the thread, but is anyone here gonna smash it up at pacha(victoria ) on saturday
