Hed kandi 09

Hi guys!

Was hoping someone could shed some light on exactly what is going on with Hed Kandi this year... I have heard that Space will be hosting on a Saturday night(?) but on El Divino's website, it has Hed Kandi on being there on a Fri night? Are there two separate nights?

Hed Kandi was to be at Eden, now it is at Space - same dates (Saturdays)

Fierce Angel is at El Divino fridays - different promoter completely from Hed Kandi, if you look into the politics of the HK/FA relationship you'll see that they are differnt
 
Some would say that Mark Doyle was Mr Hed Kandi and that alot of their comp albums have gone downhill since he left.. Of course thats just what some ppl say 8)
 
Thanks guys! Doesn't seem like an awful lot is going on at El Divino this year then... Fierce Angel could be interesting though

Salvacion & Kidology are back and teaming up
the Ibiza Planet nights look like they are being ambitious
Carwash returns to the island bigger clubs
and new night Pirates should be interesting as well

El Divino seems to be trying to break newer parties which given that i assume they don't have the resources of say Amnesia or Eden - is a positive way forward
 
Come to think of it, seen CDs next to the Hed Kandi ones in HMV etc which I believe maybe Fierce Angel, less commercialised Im guessing? Worthy of a visit do you think?
