anyone else go out in July and completely struggle with the temperature?

had a great holiday, up there as one of my favourite visits, but the heat pretty much rendered me useless during the day, not made any better by staying at the tramuntana which was a bit of a disaster with no air con

Being basically a Celt I'm built for cooler climes, but I find doing everything at half pace, drinking lots of water and staying in the shade (I only burn anyway) does the trick. Mind you, I'm always practically nocturnal in Ibiza anyway.

The yellow heat alert, which hit yesterday Ibiza, Formentera, Menorca and the center and northeast of Mallorca, will extend to the rest of Mallorca today except for the Serra de Tramuntana.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) provides for 36 degrees today in Formentera, Ibiza and Menorca and 38 in the South and the East of Mallorca.
