Seriously though, not a great spectacle but I thought Haye boxed smart, landed more decent punches and made Valuev look a bit lumbering and slow.

The 12th glossed it a bit but yes, based on the scoring system I think he deserved it, and Jim Watt showed himself yet again to be an annoying arse.

Hmm..maybe I was misdirected by the Sky commentators and Watt in particular. Don't know much about boxing but it seemed to me that so few punches were thrown, that it'd be a draw, or if in doubt, give it to the reigning champion.

Does Watt have a bad rep? Now you mention I have a vague recollection that my Dad really hated/hates him....
 
I don't really follow boxing and had no idea who was winning but I can say that the giant looked very much like the bouncer at Bar 54 :eek:
