It is snowing quite heavily in east Leeds Probably half an inch and it's settling, even on the roads!

Funny how it seems to be such a rare event these days.

Way too much sludgy snow...makes the roads yucky and everything brown and dirty!!

Lasted no more than a few hours here

I don't think we will see any decent lasting snow in the UK in my lifetime ever again.

School used to shut for several days when I was young, side roads would be inpassable for days. We used to have snowmen in the garden that lasted for weeks!
