Have car, will travel

The only time I've seen jellyfish on the island was right there!
We took a trip from San An in a glass bottomed boat & as we approached Es Vedra the lil blighters were everwhere! :x

They usually prefer being very close to shore - the water is warmer

If you are worried about jellyfish the best thing to do when you get to any beach in Ibiza or mainland Spain is to see how many spaniards are in the water....if there are none you can probably count on there being jellyfish on the shoreline.....

Another top tip if there are jellyfish is to go in the water where there are loads of kids....they are usually all competing to find the jellyfish and are usually pretty good at fetching them out of the water with there nets...

Good advise.
Also if there's any bar or a red-cross post you can ask if there's jelly fishes.

aww.......glass boats go to es vedra? from where? i´d like to play tourist for a day in ibiza soon!

The glass bottomed boat trips leave from San An right by the Egg. The trips are really nice with a bar on board & a couple of opportunities to stop for a swim :)
