have a question for the clubbers- glowsticks-

ye! Theres enough bitching in the world as it is, Clubs should be a place for people to let go and do whateva the f*** they want! If someone prefers flashy lights wots the problem!?

Anyways, I never seen Danny T before but doesnt he use a spotlight for shining on the crowd? And always wears a baseball cap?

Nice to see some support for lunes such as myself.

As far as I am concerned the attitude is left back in the UK, we've all got enough baggage to carry already!

I won't be wearing the right labels, I won't be trying to impress, I won't be looking for trouble, I won't be posing.

I'll be dancin', smiling, drinking, doing the disco biscuit thang, chatting and smiling (did I mention the smiling?)

p.s. Although, it is rude to wave glowsticks at people if they don't like em and the ones on strings are cool but a little dangerous for my liking. I'll have me flashing cross n stuff though

smiling! yeah mate nice! When im listening to a quality set its the only thing (apart from novelty porn) that puts a huge grin on ma face :D

Smiling Ear to ear - I do get face ache from it though!

Anyway, finishing work now - off home to mix

Laters potatas!

The DEA has this to say about them:

"...the use of ...Glow sticks are associated with MDMA use."

They're definitely a Crasher/Gods thing, have never seen the attraction in them  :?: :p

They arn't a crasher & Gods thing tho, to be fair! As a regular at both, i can safely say that most clubbers hate them! They are mainly used by people who have just started clubbing.

Most people have prob used them at some point when they first started going clubbing, then they soon get bored and realise they are pointless.

There used to be millions of them in Gatecrasher around 98/99 time, only go up to Crasher about once/twice a year now and they are less in abundance but still a fair few. As for Gods last time I was up there was for Tiesto Solo and there was a few but not like when Cyber was at its peak. I think I notice them more cos like I said there are virutally none in London town.

None in London? Hmm.. i was at a club called Smile, in october/ november time cos my mate was playing there and there were loads of people with them in there!

I don't remember seeing ANY glowsticks at Crasher on saturday for PVD's 6 hour set. Hardly any used nowadays. They were mainly a 99 thing, that some people havn't let die.

glowsticks u said?... I think not! :D

I love those pics! Your bright thingies definitely don't compare to glowsticks and look fun to have!

Anytime I think of glowsticks, I think Twilo! They were usually Asian kids taking up alot of space on the floor at Twilo or some young heads bouncing around trying to get attention. Few friends including myself just waved them for a few secs for the fun of it!

But...turns out that with my arse being on the J-Lo side...I needed my space to dance so I did not appreciate it much but hey..if the club allowed it then so be it!
